Default PC crashes when JDownloader is running

Hello,

since about 2 wekks I've a problem. My Windows Home Server (based on 2k3) 32Bit crashes after a random time.

Everytime I start JDownloader everything seems to work fine. After I click the start button it takes 5 minutes to 3 hours to freeze the whole pc. Only a complete reset helps. The server is running for weeks when JDownloader isn't running.

I checked the EventViewer - nothing
I checked the JDownloader log - only events AFTER the complete freeze are shown.

Any ideas?
thanks

edit: I forgot

Windows Home Server (2k3) 32 Bit
Java Version 6 Update 13 (downgraded from Version 6 Update 22 - hoped it would help)
JDownloader Version 0.9.580 (complete reinstall yesterday - no change)

Please read General Discussion -> Self Help Index -> Required Patches. I am not sure if the applies to 2K3, I think it is 2K8. However, search technet within the Microsoft site for your problem. Java programs cannot freeze your whole PC unless there is a serious OS problem.

For example, I notice that after my computer has been running for a while (with JD), csrss starts eating large amounts of CPU time and eventually the system slows to a crawl. An antivirus can do this as well. Keep an eye on Process Explorer to see what is using CPU time or memory after a period of time.

Please try General Discussion -> self Help Index -> Posting an Emergency Log. That will give better logging information from the start.
