What java are you running?

There is a known issue with Oboom and Java 1.6. The SSL handshake associated with HTTPS will fail. Make sure you're using at least Java 1.7 latest release.

Java 7 should be fine,

if you goto terminal or cmd (depending on Operating System) and type 'java -version'
it should tell you which java is been bound to be used by the system

I haven't seen anything too negative with Java 1.8 for JDownloader 0.9. But I must admit I haven't been looking for issues. Keep in mind that we never designed JD 0.9 for 1.8 it was developed under Java 1.6.

Can you please post a log so we can analyse

How to post a log

Also vom java runtime ...

Trotzdem thx @ all
