Suggestion for Folder Watch extension
This extension is very useful.
One additional feature that I would find very useful for automation would be, when it moves the captured .crawljob files into the "added" directory, if it could also write a corresponding json file that contains the result of the Link Grabber operation on that job (specifically if the parsed links were online or not). This would be useful for external automation programs. |

yes useful indeed. hopefully Jiaz will consider adding functionality.
fyi: you could add links and and receive feedback from the api framework, maybe that is a solution for you in the mean time. raztoki

I understand that such a feature would be helpful, I'm sorry to tell that I have no plans to add it in near future. Please use the existing MyJDownloader API where you can easily add jobs/links to JDownloader and let JDownloader assign JOB ids to the resulting links and then you can check/query the found/processed links with help of the JOB id. You could also use the eventscripter and let it write out the wished information to a file. For example you can use the event PackagizerHook that sees the resulting links and there you can extract/process all information that you want.
Please contact mgpai for help with this, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525

Just that you know, of course any other developer is free to add support for this. It's no final decision
