just a note to say hot file are blocking my IP due to too many failed login attempts. i have deleted my premium account from JD and re added ensuring correct credentials are entered. Worked fine for 12 hours then same problem Hotfile refused my login again. JD is the only software I run with hotfile account credentials. very frustrating as I now have a huge backlog of hotfile links waiting download.

my hotfile account expires in November 2010.

i eagerly await a resolution on this item.

thanks

If your hotfile plugin isn't V11589, restart JD twice and try again.

i'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place here as I decided to use "firefox down them all" for Hotfile till this item is fixed however, unsure if this is related to the initial issue, I am unable to copy any Hotfile URLs from the JD "copy URL" featur. I select the package and the COPY URL menu otion is greyed out and (0) appears next to the menu option also when I highlight individual hotfile links within the package and right click the COPY URL menu option is greyed out....strange. Look like my hotfile links are well and truley stuck in JD for now.

any ideas why the copy url is not working - this is my only workaround for the initial hotfile problem.

thanks again.

just checked and I am able to copy URL's for Rapidshare and Depositfiles but Hotfile will refuses to work.

cheers
pxj

I am still having the same problems... the accounts gets marked invalid at any point in time... I am clueless what's causing it... I can download it from my browser though since I have the cookie saved in it.

Please do something about it... Thanks

If you removed the account and configured it again, checked your account in your browser and it's still not working, then please provide a complete and detailed log.

the login and pw I got from hotfile when I signed up didn't work anymore. that was a number and a pw they provided. Somehow my username and pw on the hotfile website was always a different one, a real username and a self choosen pw.
logged in earlier to see how long my account is still running and just tried that website login in jd. works...for now at least

I wish it was a joke....unfortunately not. I was using the original login+pw combo as well, but the other one works like a charm now

what is the number U have used as Ur login? I dont get it... I have been using Hotfile for sometime, but I have never seen a number, I know Rapidshare provide a membership number but I did not see one such number for Hotfile.

Please could you help me with this?

Thanks mate...

please recreate a logfile with only hotfile loading and loglevel all
please also use the -brdebug parameter for jd
eg
java -Xmx512m -jar JDownloader.jar -brdebug
in console

Default positive news on hotfile premium accounts

my premium hotfile account has been running without error for around 4 days now so maybe some change was actioned at the hotfile end (i made no changes and i am unaware of any JD updates).... i did send htfile several emails complaining about the "too many login error message" which plagued my JD accelerator but not my browser.

I'll leave it a few more days then move all my hotfile downloads from FireFox Down Them All to JD. BTW I have been running JD successfully for all other download hosters; with a mixture of premium and free user

thanks, i am about to be very relieved
