Unhappy Seedr.cc no longer recognized

as of the update yesterday, JD no longer recognizes Seeder.cc links

Normally I can click any of my folders in Seeder and "copy download link", then load it into JD through the "Add New Link" function. When I do that now, NOTHING happens in JD, meaning it doesn't even show it in the LinkGrabber section at all.

Example: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Hi,

this type of URL is unsupported by our plugin.
Where did you get this URL from?
Does it directly redirect to the content?
I was unable to generate such URLs using my free seedr.cc test account.
Our seedr.cc plugin currently supports URLs matching the following regular expression:
Code:
https?://[A-Za-z0-9\\-]+\\.seedr\\.cc/downloads/.+|**External links are only visible to Support Staff**

the same way as always ... been using Seedr and JD for a couple of years without a problem ... I simply right-click the folder I want to load into JD, copy the link and "Add New Link".

But I just tried it again and it works again ... so maybe it was just something on their end? When I right-click the same folder now, it gives me the correct link and loads into JD.

Added plugin support for such URLs.

there is definitely something weird going on with Seedr, so I don't think it's on your end.
Just a minute ago, when I wrote my prior answer, it worked. Now I can't log into Seedr and receive the following message:

asdaConnection Failed: 2002 : Connection refused

I was unable to reproduce this issue but sure this may happen.
Maybe give it some time and try again later.

do you think the same thing is possible for ZBIGZ.com

JD copies the link into Link Collector but doesn't download. In link collector it is displayed with a question mark under availability and "unknown size". The download immediately changes to skipped.

Hi,

1. It seems that an account is required to download this URL.
Did you enter your zbigz account in JDownloader?
Does your account have enough traffic left to download this file?

2. I'am unable to download your file even with an account.
You might have to send me your logindata via PN so I can check/fix this.

Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier.

I sent you a private message

I added the login info to JD in account manager, but when I load the link (Zbigz gives the option of creating a link for copying), JD opens the Captcha page, but instead of providing a captcha to solve, it just tries to start the download link directly)

I've fixed your issue.

Please keep this in mind:
The captchas have nothing todo with downloading - zbigs only has login-captchas.
Also it seems like you can only open one session at a time which means if you login via JD, you will be logged-out in browser.
If you log in via browser, JD will be logged-out --> It will ask you for another login-captcha the next time it checks your account or you add downloadlinks

this problem is back! JD loads the files, but does not show size or name of file. When it tries to download them, it simply says Connection Problems under Status and continuously counts down ...

Hi again zOrlAc,

your issue is caused be seedr.cc itself.
Their "ZIP" URLs seem to redirect to ".seedr.cc" which is of course wrong.
I was able to recreate the issue with my test account.

In the future, please always test via browser first before reporting JD issues.

Please contact the seedr.cc support and ask them to fix thi issue - it is clearly not caused by JDownloader.

Also, your log shows a failed login attempt.
Please follow these instructions to be able to add your seedr.cc account to JD again.

Additionally, I've fixed- and improved a lot of seedr.cc stuff - also, as long as you do not try to download their .zip files but the single files one by one, you should not run into this issue.

I was able to download the zip files directly through the browser without a problem. But I will check the rest of your suggestions. (I never added my login info in JD, as I never had an issue before and it worked without adding that info)

@zOrlAc
I've analyzed this again and you're only partially right:
When you do rightclick on a file/folder in the seedr.cc interface, you can do two things:
1. Clicking on download will start the download via browser right away.
2. Clicking "Copy Download Link" will just copy a download link which you can e.g. download using JDownloader.
The 2nd option seems to be broken and returns an invalid URL - just test it via browser
Here is a screenshot:

Here is a workaround for you:
1. Make sure your seedr.cc account is active in JDs account manager.
2. Instead of adding these broken direct-URLs, go into the folder that you want to download and add this kind of URL to JD:
seedr.cc/files/123456789
This will let JD parse the files internally and use their not-broken "Download button"
Also, this is the way to usually use JD and if you ask me, this way is actually more comfortable than the way you have been doing it so far

If you want their "Copy Download Link" to work again, please contact their support and ask them to fix it.

you are a clever man! Thank you for the workaround! I understand what you are trying to do (bypass the archiving process), unfortunately, when I go into a folder and copy the URL as you suggested, JD doesn't load it, even if I add it via the Add New Links button (nothing happens). However, you are correct. I can right-click each individual file and JD automatically adds them! So that works for now until they fix the Zip button.

Thanks for your feedback.

JD can only crawl the type of URL I've mentioned whenever there is an ACTIVE seedr.cc account in your JD - maybe you've missed that part.
I've just tested this again and it is working just fine here.

If it doesn't work for you, please post a log.
Do you own multiple different seedr.cc accounts?
This could also be an issue with our crawler as it cannot know which account the URLs you add come from.

Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier.
