Hello, raztoki,
my apologies for bringing this exact thing up again, but I suspect VK has changed something in their system and, as a result, the plugin seems to be broken for documents once more.

When I enter a few vk.com links for archive files (.rar and .zip), instead of giving me the final result with the correct filename and extension jDownloader gives me again a doc123456789_123456789 (part of the link URL) and a - (minus symbol = Offline) as a result in the "availability" column (entering those links individually in my browser I am able to get the correct file, which means they're not really offline).

PS1: I've given a little bit more links than usual, as VK has been removing content more aggressive lately...

PS2: I've noticed that secure links take waaaay more time to connect on my end here (when opening a single page in firefox ), and replacing "https:" with "http:" will usually give me better results.

I'm really not in a hurry to get those files, so whenever (and if) you can inspect the plugin to see if any correction(s) can be made, I will be very grateful.

JD doesn't log account stuff without debug mode enabled (see guide re: debug https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs)
ensure your user:pass is incorrect, all the log indicated was invalid user/pass.

Please, first of all, bear with me since this is my first post.
I've tried to read as much as I could on how to do it properly, and I did make a search on my problem, unsuccessfully.
Yesterday I was downloading Music and PDF from VK, but after I turned my pc on today, the music download just stopped working (the pdf one seems to be OK). And I know the link is OK, because I've tried downloading straight from the browser and it works.
It shows "Connection Problems" and on Availability there's only a blue question mark.
Here are two links just in case this is any relevant.

in your logs, it shows you can't resolve the hostname to ip address. It doesn't resolve here either in ipv4 only ipv6. At this time JDownloader doesn't support ipv6.

JD2 detects various sources, identical files, but different audio quality.
I would like to chose only the highest size.

I do not want to download two different files of varying quality (low and high)

no real way within plugin. They are separate uploads, and not part of a single url (say audio upload with multiple bitrates/qualities).

you could use linkgrabber with linkchecking enabled for audio and manually compare filenames and filesizes yourself.

Better quality (bit rate) = larger file size
Low quality (bit rate) = smaller file size
This feature in this case would operate perfectly!
