plugin updates typically do not cause this, it be change on the website.
link adds and downloads fine here @beronz

please make sure you have the latest updates in your JD client, and give your client a restart (maybe its required).
if you have issues please follow up with logs from a session that has failed.

Hi Guys... from today i have the problem with youtube Text Description...
It's impossible to download, if i had load it before today in the download list. If i load now, it doesen't see the text description anymore



Is it a Jdownloader recent upgrade that made the problem, or Youtube changed something?

Me 4th.

I had some YouTube links already added with a customised name created with
*CHANNEL* *DATE[yyyy-MM-dd]* - *VIDEO_NAME* *H*p *FPS*fps.*EXT*

Before updating JD2 the DATE was kept as part of the filename.

After updating JD2 and starting a link the *DATE[yyyy-MM-dd]* string is removed from the filename when I start downloading.

There are some videos have a warning you have to accept before they will play. It's not just an age restriction, this happens even after you are signed into an unrestricted account, you can get a screen like this:

I don't know if this happens when the uploader voluntarily sets an age restriction, or if it's something from youtube's end. Once you click to proceed it puts "&has_verified=1" on the end of the URL.

On this type of video, jd2 cannot seem to grab the channel name or video title. It puts it in a package called "Various Files" and does not have the video title in the file name.

Can we get this ability on jdownloader?

@traverjg: this video has workaround disabled and therefore it's not possible to support it because of required age check/restriction. at the moment you can't grab those kind of videos

So I've reported about it before, when you try to add your account to youtube in the account manger you got window that tells you "Cannot add account because Premium account", till half year ago it worked just fine, and even if the last plugin can skip the age rating, it still sometimes can't download age restricted video if you're not log in, so please fix it ;/

This has been addressed several times. At the moment account support is broken/unstable. It's unknown when we will find time to work on this and how this will be fixed

Anybody else having problem with youtube downloads?

Can't get it to work... Everything else I have tried work as it should. Haven't downloaded anything from youtube in a while, so I don't know when the problems started.
