Plugin work but...

It is better if it shows an error code than "Outdated Plugin"

Thanks for your answer. That does make sense with respect to the first 90% of the download - but then why does it slow down in the last 10%?
And why does JD show me the little /!\ sign that tells me I should go get a premium account? (The link leads nowhere, and does YT premium even exist?)

JDownloader downloads video stream first, then audio. Audio stream is limited. I guess to avoid audio leechers ;(
I will fix the ! sign issue

Default Youtube Individual Containers

Hello, I recently re-installed Jdownloader 2 and it's been forever since I have messed with my youtube settings so I am having an issue which is probably easy to fix I just can't find the correct settings.

The issue I have is when I add multiple Youtube videos they go into Linkgrabber in individual containers. Even if i add a playlist, they all go in their separate containers. I've narrowed down the options to only allow one best quality mp4 video available, but it is still making individual containers for each. Any help?

Fetching DASH-streams currently does not work. When DASH-feature is enabled, JD2 is repeatedly trying to get the streams, which fails for some reason. Only the normal variants like MP4_720 and MP4_360 are collected and listed in LinkGrabber.

HTTP-requests for all the DASH-streams end up with 404 Not Found or 500 Internal Server Error.

Downloading the DASH-streams with youtube-dl works.

Happening with build "Wed Feb 17 17:28:47 CET 2016"/core #32896 and newer.

Just guessing, because this video uses a different type of streaming.

What total bs. I use their converter all the time and love it so I happily downloaded this. This downloader not only did NOT download the youtube video but it also has no option as to where the download is stored on your hard drive! :outch::outch:

Default 2 Youtube Problems, HD video

Hey guys,

there are 2 problems with the Youtube Plugin:

1st: when I download a 1080p Video, it grabs the video correctly but doesn't join the audio anymore. Instead, JD asks to download the "file again", but grabs audio and saves as separate mp4 file. This happens since yesterday.

2nd, older problem: When I download both 720p and 1080p, the audio on 1080p is low quality bitrate AAC, while the audio on the 720p is much higher bitrate AAC. This is not new, found this months ago.

Thanks for support, keep up the good work!

The devs will at least need links to videos with these problems.

@davidr17:
1.) Please provide logfiles https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post logID here
2.) is no issue. 720p exists as DASH and standalone MP4. The standalone mp4 has different aac quality, because it cannot be changed on the fly. The DASH version (1080) has multiple audio qualities and youtube decides max bitrate depending on input material
