[No user feedback] erome.com Downloads frozen on 'Starting...'
13.01.23 14.05.38 <--> 15.01.23 00.01.37 jdlog://2932311370661/
Any downloads that either start or continue on would randomly stop and freeze onto a "Starting..." status. |

Can you download the same file without problems manually via browser?
According to your log, the file-server does not serve the expected file-length: Code:
--ID:19940TS:1673658697098-1/14/23, 12:11:37 PM - [jd.plugins.download.raf.RAFChunk(run0)] -> EndByte missmatch(1)! 1015592471!=1015592472

Not sure if that's the actual problem I'm experiencing. I haven't had any issues in the past and I'm fairly sure it also happens to other files on other sites assuming they're large enough for it to occur.
EDIT: Forgot the links: Normal link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Video file: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Image file: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** The links are pretty much wide open with easy use of the inspector. I don't think it's any site specific bandwith rules but I know this site specifically has a simutaneous download rule of 4 per proxy with minimal chunks or none. Also to note that this does occur when a file has finished downloading. Last edited by RedNapalm; 17.01.2023 at 14:00. |

I'm unable to reproduce this problem.
Here is what I think happened: Most likely it was a temporary glitch where the server first said "this file is X bytes in size" but then it served 1 byte less resulting in our downloadsystem thinking "that file must be incomplete". Now I was unable to reproduce this with any links so I've sent you the filename of one of the files from your log via PN maybe you can send the original link to me.

We prefer to keep communication in public forum threads (except for exchanging private data of course) as such threads can also be helpful for other users or even for our staff in the future.
You've contacted me via PN and sent me a link to a filehost which is only downloadable for premium users. My question is: Do you own a premium account for that filehost or are you downloading via multihost? I've now answered this question on my own by looking into your log again: You do own a premium account for that filehost. More questions: - Can you still reproduce the same issue with that same URL? - Can you download that same file fine via browser? - Please provide a screenshot of ipv6-test.com you can censor your private data in beforehand.

Sorry for the late reply.
The same issue occurs on other urls. The erome links in my log will probably be a better indicator as I download more from there than the example link you picked out. Yes. I could download the file just fine via browser. My ISP doesn't support ipv6 for whatever reason. But I haven't had this problem in the past and I did a reinstall and the issue is still present. |

Please try the following:
Go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Search for: Code:
InternetConnectionSettings.preferredipversion If you do not notice any changes: Change this back to default ("SYSTEM").

I'm nearly out of ideas.
Does it only happen when starting multiple downloads or also if you set max downloads and chunks to 1?

Yeah I think it's because the max sim downloads is higher than the max sim downloads per hoster. I set it as such to not trip download bandwith rules on certain websites but still allow others without issue.

JD should auto handle host limits.
If you think that JD e.g. tries more simultaneous downloads for a host than the host allows, please let us know and provide example URLs so that we can adjust the limits in our plugins accordingly.
