First off, this would probably only work if you are able to download from browser.

If you are only getting unknown landing error in jdownloader but able to download from browser, then you can try to downgrade your plugin to see if it helps. To downgrade, do the following:

1. Get the plugin posted by remi in this post: http://board.jdownloader.org/showpos...postcount=1605

2. Extract the 7z archive.

3. You should see a file called FileServeCom.class

4. Make sure jd is shut down.

I've got some more weird test results. Recap: on local pc fileserve premium works fine on JD since the update b4 last. Local pc has very little bandwith. On remote pc since that update JD gives the infamous landing error, but FSM works ok. I just tried jduser666's tip of downgrading the fileserve plugin but that changed nothing. I transfered a copy of JD on local pc to remote pc and that copy doesn't give the landing error nor does the filesize change to 242b, instead it just gives a plugin out of date error. Weird. Not helpful to me, but weird. As far as i can tell both the local and remote copies of JD should be the same version with same config except for the theme. meh.

My account doesn't work either. I will to try contact with RickyFS

Since i had some free time i decided to test the current jd fileserve plugin to see if the unknown landing error still comes up for me.

So I randomly hit up some fileserve links till i found some that gives me that error so i can test the new plugin against the old.

As you can see from the screenies and logs, changing back to the old plugin seems to remove the unknown landing error, so something must have changed between the old plugin and the new that created this problem.

I know fileserve is being an ass and is probably responsible for most of the problems users have but in this case, there might be something broken in the fileserve plugin. I am not accusing anyone or anything here, just trying to be helpful by giving a step by step of this problem.

That should resolve a lot of your problems since the http auth auto generates a cookie and the necessary Location headers.

Hm strange
By the way we already officially decided not to support (= always update fileserve plugin because of crap they change) fileserve.
I will TRY to see what the difference is but i will certainly NOT revert all those changes as they cost us many times and it's just not worth taking the old code.
By the way it seems like Germans are not affected by the problem, we don't know why but we don't even have a single German report about those problems.

yes this is weird..

If you look at the log jduser66 posted, the landing page being directed to is 1406. This, when opened in your browser, gives you an error that says your browser does not accept cookies. This could suggest a cookie related issue at some point in the plugin code or maybe during run time. I'm not quite sure, but I know this should be a simple enough fix.

I would also suggest, as I suggested earlier, that JD uses the basic auth for downloads. It's just so much more simple!

1.The cookie error messages which come from fileserve have NOTHING to do with JD.
How many times do i have to repeat this?
JD has IT'S OWN COOKIES and even if there WAS a cookie error, no hoster would show an errormessage like this, it's just crap.
2.I re-implemented the basic auth part in the plugin and it ll be in after the next update but again: Is it our job to chase fileserve, collect all THEIR BUGS and "fix" them in OUR PLUGIN?

Sure people make mistakes but removing the basic auth part out of the fileserve plugin before was because the plugin changed and so non-needed code was removed so no mistakes were made here by us.
How could anyone know that this is still working?
We couldn't as for us the fileserve plugin ALWAYS worked (even while on your side it was blocked the accounts worked in Germany).

no idea why fileserve hates JD. i get why FSM, but why are they promoting IDM? Can it be they get some kinda fee?

FS is dead... I'll be moving to other services... I am pretty sure by now that all these f.ck ups are on PURPOSE period.If I was JD, I would not implement FS anymore, it just a big f.cking waste of our and ur time. FS is acting like this is a free service like they are doing us a favor fixing this and that. If I am paying for something, it better work 90% percent of the time not f.cking half of the time. i have had success by emailing them. go to their site and click on contacts.
After emailing 4 times I got a return email saying to stop reporting my problem and just reply to their email. lol

I PMed RickyFS, he said he corrected the issue and it worked fine on a different computer but I still have the issue on my main machine. Worst of all, RickyFS can't accept any more PMs! I get an error that his quota is full, must be a lot of people with issues. Wish I never paid for premium.

unfortunately, I don't have a read receipt. I went to fileserve.com and logged on with my account. In the lower right corner you will see a contact us link. There you have to pick a subject title and then put in your message.

I said to them that fileserve is not working with jdownloader and could they please look into it. When I did not hear back from them the next day I sent another one stating that if they cannot fix the problem to issue me a refund. It got fixed in two hours after that. It worked for one day then the problem was back. I sent them another message(2) about it and it got fixed within 6 hours. The next day I got an email from them saying to quit sending them messages about it and to just reply to their email if problems persist. lol. Its been working for two days as of now.

Nehme ich bei meinem Premium Account die Häckchen raus und lade normal, dann funktioniert es halt mit der doofen Capture Erkennung, aber nützt mir nichts da ich feste IP habe und diese nicht ändern kann.

Im chat sagte mir jemand ich soll mal die Version JDownloader Nightly verwenden, habe auch die Zeile im Programmordner darauf geändert, aber habe trotzdem nach wie vor das Problem.
Da der Supporter aber nicht mehr Online ist hier noch mal die Frage ist es richtig dass in der Zeile nun 2 mal die exe ist ? Die Zeile heisst jetzt nach seiner Angabe : JDownloader.exe -branch NIGHTLY .exe

Und was bedeutet eigentlich Nightly Version, was ist da anders ? Danke vorab

Mein gott die Suchfunktion verwenden kannste aber auch net.
Ich machs kurz:
Fileserve dumm, sperren eigene Premiumuser, Beschwere dich bei denen, KEIN JD PROBLEM!
Sorry für die unfreundliche Antwort aber überall steht was fileserve tut und du machst nen neuen Thread auf.
Ich habe deinen Thread mal mit dem zusammengeführt, den du hättest finden sollen.
Achja wer hat dir zur NIGHTLY geraten also welcher Supporter?

I'm having this issue as well. The biggest problem is that their website has no way to cancel a CC (I didn't use paypal). I'm almost positive I'm still being charged. I emailed their support with no avail. Any good method for canceling auto-renew with a CC?

i didnt read all post from last days but..
i got some error..i downloaded updates (because it told me plugin is out of date)
and like 2-3 days when im trying download file i see error :
error landing ..and file size is like 202B:>

Try to download the file in your browser. If it works in your browser then the jD's fallback method hasn't been implemented/released yet.

I'm having the same issue....
in the last few days fileserve has been acting very strange, and now the situation is that jd can't check online status, can't download (hoster problems), but everything downloads fine in browser...
jd is of course updated. Any ideas?

If you've an account then read my post #514, otherwise allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

I have premium, and as i said, it downloads fine in browser.
java is of course allowed through firewall, as it has been for months and years.
no special virus scans that should make any difference.
My initial guess is that something is wrong with jd, but then, i assume, we'd see more action on this board..

If you can download them with your browser something is blocking jD. I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

Same as ANN, Roakes and QUETZALIN.

I can download just fine from the browser, I can download without the Premium Account ... but It's impossible to download using the PREMIUM ACCOUNT, I got a Hopster problem. In JD Premium Settings ... it recognizes my account but the expire date is set to UNLIMITED (instead of December)

REMI: disabling virus and firewall + reduce de max.con. setting + reseting affeted links .... doesn't work


At the moment I am using another software to download with FS Premium and it is working ... (I don't like the program but ...) There is a message recomending using MyPony and FileserveManager in Fileserve Spain ... I just have one question now: Why does JD still support FS?
