I think it is better if the window width is calculated but hardcoded. So, for now (since rev 27296) the window size is determined in that way and therefore it shouldn't be necessary to resize the window size by hand.
Does it solve your issue?

@editestowy: I modified the dialog again. Maybe you can give feedback whether this nearly final version is ok for you

raztoki mentioned to group actions & day/time selection. I think the main problem is to keep the UI simple and intuitional. I replaced Weekly and Daily time selection by "Specific Days". If you select all days of a week it is like Daily, if you just select one day it is like Weekly. Therefore, Daily & Weekly became obsolete. This should reduce the number of rules a bit. But in my opionion grouping multiple actions to one schedule plan would break atomicity of columns "Action" and "Parameter". Still no idea for that....

Another question: Are there any actions missing?

Suggestion to the Scheduler.
Open a regular window when the Scheduler option is selected on main menu.

Was meinst du mit "aufheben"?

Rules for individual premium accounts should be possible now. Select Enable/Disable Account and select the Premiumaccount you want to schedule.
Spoiler:

In near future this feature won't be integrated (by me). You can backup your schedule rules by backup the config file from you jd-home directory /cfg/org.jdownloader.extensions.schedulerV2.SchedulerExtension.entrylist.json
Or you go to "Advanced Settings" (German: "Profieinstellungen") and select "Scheduler: Entry List". Here you can backup the text in field "value".

You mean like "Tools" -> "Chat" opens a new tab? Also currently no feature for the next days. Will see when I will have enough time to integrate this. And I have no feeling how much work this will be...

Not sure whether this fine-grained bubble setting is necessary, because I want to keep this AddActionDialog clean and simple. But bubble notify might be a good idea. We will see

For the new Scheduler TAB, you can observe the the NIGHTLY version (in OFFLINE, because it will update to the JD2 beta).

Hi - I am trying to use the scheduler so start downloads without success.

To test I schedule it to start in 2 minutes from now and stop a minute later. I then watch it and it starts just fine and stops just fine.
I then schedule it to start at 1:00am and stop at 5:44am and leave it. The next day the downloads did not happen. I have tried over three days now and every time the same thing - my test works perfectly but the overnight does not happen.

I am running jdownloader in a Linux (Fedora) machine. Is there anywhere where logs for jdownloader2 scheduler can be looked at?

maynak00 I think that bthis is not caused by the scheduler, too.

can you please join our chat for a teamviewer session? I cannot see anything of interest in the log.

Richtig.

Oder einfach Multi-Selektion --> Rechtsklick --> Akti-/Deaktivieren

Again last night allt he downloads queued up did not start. But if I set the scheduler to start in a few minutes from the current time then it works just fine. The "next run time" columnm shows the correct date and time but for some reason it doesnt work.

Maybe your machine has hibernate or suspend-to-ram enabled with a specific idle timeout?
Which kind of 'repeat' did you chose ("Only once", "Specific Days")?

I have this exact same problem except I'm on a desktop running Windows 7 64 bit. No hibernate or anything happening. There shouldn't be any sort of energy saving scheme I'm aware of unless Windows has hidden it somewhere.

I created a log, it gave me this ID here:

16.10.14 16.08.16to16.10.14 16.08.15 jdlog://0444876271141/

Your log didn't help me, because the scheduler extension didn't log enough information to find the problem. I updated the extension to provide more information - the update was released yesterday.
Please reproduce the bug and provide a new log for that.

I have the same problem, I will try to create a log tomorrow (it's still 23 on my country - GMT-5). Also I think the speed limit schedules aren't working but I'm not sure.
cheers.

So I got no log between the time the schedules should work so I just leave here the last one that JD2 shows me. 24.10.14 10.18.24to24.10.14 11.10.31 jdlog://3109373693141/

And here is another from 2 days ago: 22.10.14 13.14.19to23.10.14 09.16.41 jdlog://6109373693141/

And a screenshot of my schedules (just in case because the second log is from 13:14 to 09:16):

And nor the start/stop downloads nor the speed limits are working (on the scheduler, of course).
Cheers.

Thanks lamole234 and Jesse_w_k for your logs. The bug was in the logic to check whether an 'Specific Days' event should be executed.
This should be fixed now - but the fixing update will be released with the next full build of the JDownloader. So it might take a few days until it reaches you. Maybe on monday or tuesday.

Until then you can use 'Only once' as a workaround.

Edit: Update should be released now. Please make sure that you updated to the latest version of jd2 and try if the bug is fixed. Feedback would be nice

Default schedule is not working

Hello

Why the schedule is not working ?
it does never start or stop at the time I have specified. I watched the clock pass without the downloads start at midnight. I reconfigure it many times and I have restarted jdownloader.

Please provide a log from a period of time an action should have been executed. (Around 11:50pm and 7am)

Hi,

Helli flubshi

I can see this log generated:
17.11.14 18.13.37to15.11.14 17.45.16 jdlog://4220955715141/

does it help you solving my problem with the schedule ?
I noticed recently that STRAT works fine on schedule but STOP is not and I have scheduled as following:
START from 11:50pm
STOP t 07:00am (next day) you have my screenshot in my previous reply
