Default Backin.net problem with filename longer than x chars

Hello I have a problem with some file on Backin.net.

If filename is very long I don't see real file name on jd but just his file code.

Example:

tony, that might cause problems as there is no real file extension as all _ . are stripped by the hoster within title.

Still better than nothing, because:

Fell free if you have better solution.

I did work on it this morning and I noticed that behaviour also. Just I got called away before I could commit any changes.

Hi there
it seems that I am also having some issues with backin. I have tried three different files but with all of them JD seems unable to start the download.

I modified the max number of connections only (didn't touched the "number of segments")

thanks

chunks or what you call segments is what we are referring to. You are using two, change to one, right click and reset (required in order to take new value).

got it ("segmenti" is the name I have in my language settings)

Just for sake of clarity, the standard settings in my JD was 5 "chunks" and not 2. However, after changing to 1 (and putting back the "max number of connections" to 5) everything is fine

Should I keep this settings for all my future downloads (meaning also for multiple and large files) or should I use it only when backin.net is involved?
thanks

I will change it in plugin source code, as they do not allow multiple chunks. While you had 5 set in JD, plugin max was 2 so it used that. That's all we can see in the logs also.
