Hi,
I use jdownloader2 on a Fedora/Linux box , start at Fedora23. I update Fedora to 24 one week ago, and want to use jdownloader2. But it's seems totally broken. Java version : Code:

Crash in your WindowManager, AWT Library
[libmawt.so+0x21e18] ReadRegionsInList+0x3b8 Check(google) this error. Maybe down/upgrade Windowmanager or packages Also try to start JDownloader.jar manually, as it seems your JDownloader uses the bundled Java 1.7 version

Manually : OK
Hi Jiaz,
And thanks a lot : lauching manually without any other adaptation seems to work. Code:
java -jar JDownloader.jar When you say "down/upgrade Windowmanager" : you mean in the bundle java ? If yes : maybe use the existing java version if exist on the workstation (and is up to 7). Test done in the linux launcher don't return the good value ? |

You can safely update JDownloader.
Within your JDownloader folder there should be a java/jre folder, simply delete it and JDownloader launcher will use your system java by default. I guess the bundled java 1.7 has issues with your window manager.

After updating : no issue with the launcher (.desktop).
Thanks a lot |
