Question, to have CBH work, it needs to be running along with JD (I have set up the plugins correctly, according to you guys) and have credits for my account. What should I do with the addon button inside JD? The one that says "Disable Auto Captcha" and then has the countdown and display threshold options; Should the check box be checked, unchecked, or does it not matter?

It sounds to me like you want to learn how to run but didn't even try walking yet. Just test it and find out on your own.

If you mean captchaSolver.exe running at same time as JD then no not required. captchaSolver.exe allows you to add credits to you account held on a common server and a few other admin things. When JD runs, the CBH plugin is "hooked in". The module gets CAPTCHA image to send to CBH common server which then gives to other connected people to solve for you and gets answers back through the common server setup.
CBH owner - "lelim"

In settings, "disable automatic CAPTCHA" is ticked then CBH module is not active and that means YOU answer CAPTCHA prompt.

"countdown for CAPTCHA" and "displaythreshold" are for tuning when your manually answering ("disable automatic CAPTCHA" is ticked)

Default Problems opening captcha brotherhood

Hi,

Since last week I've been having problems opening the program.
When I open it appears a message appears that I've already attached in this message. And when I use jdownloader it tells me that the account.txt doesn't have user or password.
I've already install the program again and it still gives me the same problem.
Can't you help please?

Thank you

Hi,
open it with notepad and write your username on first line and your password on second line in account.txt, then save it and restart cbh captcha solver

Hi all,
Today I realized that JD2 has some settings on Advanced Setting screen, relating to captcha brotherhood. It seems like JD2 lets you tick a checkbox to enable Captcha Brotherhood, and lets you enter your username and password as settings.

I have some questions about that. I enabled it and entered a valid username and password but it didn't work with letitbit and turbobit, even after a JD restart. I didn't try with any other hoster. So, how do i enter which hosters it should work with, like i did in the old jacinfo.xml file.

Is there anyone using that feature with captcha brotherhood succesfully?

What are the exact steps to configure that feature correctly?

Although it seems obvious, unfortunately i couldn't get it work and thought that an explanation from an experinced user would be useful under this subject. Maybe i can update the first post of this thread after i can configure that feature, to let JD2 users configure it easily.

Hi Lelim,

I'm having a problem I'm hoping you might be able to help with.

Last night when I went to bed, I had solved a bunch of captchas until my account was ~900 credits. When I woke up, the account was nearly drained (<100) and I only had ~22 files dowloaded from my queue. If each solve costs 10 credits, how is this possible?

I did watch while the system deducted 10 credits for a solve only for JD to return the error "Hoster Problem? Wait XXXseconds." Usually, the system would not deduct for that (or files not found etc).

Is there something wrong with the system? Thanks for the help.

JDownloader always consumes much more credits than it should. I see that this happens with pyload, too. So my suspect is that, either:
- when someone solves a captchas for you in a wrong way, your credits are not refunded
- when there's a problem while solving a captcha, credits are still subtracted from your account and not refunded
