Default [NOT a JD issue] Rapidgator Link download speed

Hi Jiaz,

The rapidgator link i used to have around 90KB/s download speed for normal account (not a premium), however, during the day when the catcha not working happened few days ago, right now when it worked, it only have 45KB/s , is it possible to troubleshoot this or u have any ideas what went wrong?

Hi,
I'am getting ~100KiB/s here (without account).

Please keep in mind that the download speed is controlled by rapidgator and not by JDownloader.

Make sure that you did not enable a speed limit/pause mode in JD by default!
Please also compare the speed in JD against the speed you get when downloading manually via browser!

PSP, pls advise what is the diff between Download Speed limit and Auto Max download speed limit in GeneralSetting which i found?

PSP and Jiaz, before that the incident of catchas problem occurred, i used to have 90KiB/s, and i did not change any setting since then...My setting is max chunks per download : 5 and Max Simultaneous DOwnload : 5, pls advise, thanks

Auto Max download speed- you tell JDownloader to auto start new downloads until required minimum speed is reached.
Download speed limit - you limit overall global download speed to x

Please make sure that you have not set/enabled download speed limit or hit the pause button.
Speedgraph in JDownloader mustn't show a red line = enabled speed limit

Jiaz, i am very sure that i do not enable the download limit setting and there is no show any red line on the speedgraph......pls advise , thanks

Have you tested speed of the same file in browser? Have you tested without an account?

Jiaz, the speed bv using browser is lower than using Jdownloader 2. Yes, i don;t have any account with PG

In that case I'm afraid we can't help much. Maybe the speed can be set by uploader or there are server issues or overloaded routes or something else.
