Default Sound notification along with CAPTCHA display

Many free users (including myself) initiate downloading and then revert back to work.

It would be appreciated if you develop a plugin which would provide sound notification (BEEP BEEP is sufficient)

when the CAPTCHA notification is displayed on the screen.

@computermonster

For captcha audio alerts there are several solutions :-

- "Captcha Sound Alert for JDownloader" : It contains several solutions for different platforms.

- For Windoze the easiest solution is "Captcha Alert : a simple tool solution.".

Default Soundausgabe wenn Captchaeingabe erfolgen muss

Hallo Miteinander,

Default Bei Captcha-Eingabe Aufmerksamkeit erregen

Was meint Ihr dazu ?

Lightbulb Sound for Captchas

It would be VERY helpful if JD could be configured to play a sound when a captcha is required (whether the sound file is selectable or not doesn't really matter to me, I'd just like an audible notification)

Thanks!

Ok, I found the 3rd party proggie.

However, I still think it should be a feature that is (properly) built into JD - coding for it can't be *that* hard (I know of few programs that *don't* include audio notification of an event).

we already have tickets for it. This was supported in the past and for some reason taken out. It will come back eventually. I was just giving you a work around solution.

Default Feature Request: next interaction countdown

Using mostly free dowloads, I have to enter captchas over and over again, sometimes after long breaks (hours!). Now I have to check every single donwload, when the next interaction is needed. I'd like to have a feature, that collects all waiting times of all downloads and displays the minimum at a central place, possibly configurable with a sound, when it become zero.

Default Hinweis-Ton bei Captcha-Eingabe

Hi,

Question Captcha sound notification?

As JD2 is left to download often on its own, it'd be good to have it notify user with a sound when captchas need to be entered. It's meanto to alert the user to come back to PC and enter captchas. Of course, an optional feature which can be toggled on/off. Maybe limit to one sound per minute if multiple captchas are shown.

there would be no possibility that this sound also serve to indicate when the downloads have finished.

I mean, every time when a download of a file finalize, JD will indicated through a notification sound.

After the next JD2 BETA update, you can add a captcha.wav file to the JD main directory which will then be played whenever you have to enter a captcha.

Translate By Google

aber was heist >>> nächsten JD2 BETA Update <<<<

Is this supposed to be working by now (0.9.581)?
I have a captcha.wav file in my JDownloader folder, but nothing is played when a CAPTCHA comes up.

That means that work in JD2 (Not for 0.9.581), in JD2 works fine.

Well, pspzockerscene also said (3 months ago) that it might work already ("Kann sein, dass es schon geht."), and Laurin (the next day) confirmed it working.
So was the capability removed again?

It's not removed.
As said, it only works in the JDownloader 2 BETA.

Es gibt generell in JD keine Sounds.
Evtl. geht es mit einem externen Tool.

Now that we have sound prompts is there a way to stop captchas from popping up on top so instead they pop up in the background?
