Last night, My JDownloader stop downloading from mediafire.com.
So I tried using "Check Online Status", then on file size it appeared "Unknown file size"
At last I tried to open that link on my web browser, mediafire.com has changed its appearance...

Last two weeks, I had experienced that errors... that made me realize there are some mediafire links server don't support chunk download or resume downloading.

Does the first 1? As that was the one giving me issues the rest were examples of working links while the first link I posted was not working at all for me as it kept saying offline even tho I was able to download it via firefox just fine.

I just want to say I was facing many errors with Jdownloader and Mediafire plugin error and all of them disappear when I start using Vpn connection and found the reason of the troubles was my ISP!

umm how come i'm trying to download this but it says plugin is out of date?
but it works on every other mediafire download i did.

Buenas no se si le pasa alguien mas pero aller se me actualizo el jd y desde entonces todos los archivos de mediafire que descargo en el jd me pide capcha ><

y el caso esqee habro los enlaces desde la web y no me pide nada ><

Previously, MF only requested one captcha for every 24 hours or so, but now, when using jdownloader or mipony, they're requiring captcha codes for every 1-2 files.

However, if I download directly from their website, I only need to enter one captcha every 24 hours. Unfortunately, I have thousands of files to download.

I'm having the same problem. But, I have just checked the disable automatic CAPTCHA option, and its downloading just like fine. But I will report any news regarding this.

No luck folks. It let me download 2 files, and then started with the likeing CAPTCHA again. Any help from the developer team?

No, no necesita pero últimamente Mediafire pide "autorizar" la descarga. En la web aparece un botón rojo para hacerlo ("authorize download"), si se da click muestra el captcha y después deja descargar sin problemas.

De ésto hace una semana me viene pasando, no sé a qué se debe pero no es cosa de JDownloader, es de Mediafire.

Pues sera cosa de mediafire que habran cambiado algo en la web porque a las 12:30 ya no me va ni un link me pone complemento desactualizado >< y el caso esque por web descarga perfecto y sin qeu me aparezca ningun capcha >< que cosas mas raras.

I second SpidyMagic comment. MediaFire says "Plugin is Out of Date" but I am able to download the same MF link via Browser just fine!

Even though my JDownloader downloaded some Updates ... is still No Go!

Buenas, desde anoche Miercoles 09/05/12 Mediafire me ha estado dando problemas con el siguiente error: "Complemento Desactualisado", he probado Actualisar a mano mi JD, pero no encuentra ninguna actualisacion disponible.

Dejo dos enlaces, los cuales introduciendolos al Navegador, esta ON y deja descargarlos, pero con JD salta el error mencionado:

I also encounter the same problem, jdownloader keep showing the plugin error (out of date):no:, download through mozilla firefox seem to be ok

I just had this problem today. For two days, I've been downloading from MF with no problems, but today, I got this "plugin out of date" error.
I had it before, but it'd go away with nightly... not this time. Been trying with Nightly, JD2 and a lot of other "solutions" I found around the web, yet nothing was helpful.
Hope you can help us because we can't do anything and it's up to you, the developers, to fix this.
It's not like I'm trying to force you to do anything, but I'll be waiting for the next upgrade.

i had the same problem yesterday i was downloading fine but this time there was a message plugin out of date. i can download the file using firebox browser without any problem.

Hi, since last night Wednesday 09/05/12 Mediafire has been giving me problems with the following error: "Add Desactualisado" I tried my hand Actualisar JD, but can not find actualisacion available.

Left two links, which introducing them to the Navigator, the ON and allow download, but JD skips the error mentioned:

Ahi me contestaron del Foro en ingles, segun dicen, hay que esperar a la nueva actualisacion de plugin, no dicen para cuando estara, asi que... a esperar :D

Hi, So sorry if I haven't understood something from the above... But I have been happily using Jdownloader to download mediafire files of Chinese TV serials from this site: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**. A day or so ago at one stage I was asked for a captcha for two of the files (and very irritating captchas too because they were almost illegible) and then they worked and the next file downloaded too, even though it didn't ask for a captcha. Now suddenly after the files are reported online and I click on continue with all, it says "plugin error (out of date)".

When I started doing all this I think I must have registered with mediafire--but though I usually efficiently keep all registration information, I don't seem to have marked down any password, etc information for mediafire, and when I tried to login with my email address, neither of the two email addresses I usually use worked, so wondering if I really did register. Anyway, I did just create a new account with mediafire--and then, as suggested above, I went to the link I of the file I want to download directly from my browser and I wasn't asked for any password (probably because it shows me logged in!), but when I try those links with the Jdownloader linkgrabber, it still shows the plugin out of date. I would so appreciate your help in simple language for the tech-impaired. And thank you again for your wonderful swift help and patience with dummies like me!

Hopefully it gets fixed soon so I can download Fringe tomorrow :D

Oh, thank you! I'm so glad to know that it's not something I've done or haven't done! When it gets fixed, do I have to do something different, or will it just automatically start working?

you'll have to update the plugins...
just do it by pressing the "check updates" button
