Question JD1 and JD2 Not Working anymore

Hi folks,

Today, my JD1 Portable and and JD2 Jar are NOT responding to any Downloads. Links that I am using are Mediafire and Idup.in.

Q1: Is there a Problem with JD1 & 2?

I upgraded to Java 8 update 31 several days back ... and everything was working fine.

Q2: Could it my Java causing the Non-responsiveness?

its most likely caused by java change AND more importantly your security software blocking its new path.

make sure for JDownloader 0.9 that your security software is setup for javaw.exe as it runs from that process

JDownloader 2.0 runs from JDownloader 2.exe, you should only need rules for that binary instead of java which gives you slightly better control at the application layer.

Don't fight the system, use it to your advantage. :]

What exactly does no longer work? Does JDownloader freeze? Do the downloads not work?
For JDownloader 2, please provide a logfile. Menu -> Help -> Create log and give the logID
