[See Bugtracker] Extend twitch.tv plugin (allow chat logs to be downloaded too)

The twitch.tv plugin works very well, and it would be great if it was possible to also download recorded chat along with the video. Twitch now save all chats, which replay when viewing past streams.

It uses:

rechat DOT org

which is now officially supported by twitch. Example URL of how the request looks inside the browser:

rechat DOT twitch DOT tv /rechat-messages?start=**timeindex**video_id=**videoid**

I'd not implement this as I don't see any advantage in this.
Often there are so many (useless) comments that you cant even read them when normally playing the video.
Other opinions on this are welcome ...

I was looking for answer for this because there is a ton of very good videos in the creative section which i download for future viewing. Keeping the chat logs is sometimes essential.

Displaying these with the video is problem though, convert to subtitle maybe?

you would need to create subtitle yes, well that's what I had in mind.
I looked into the ticket when first requested, just not simple task even to obtain the chat history.
