Hi to all.
I've this problem using jdownloader.
After 5/10 seconds (sometimes 5/10 minutes ) of downloading,
every files I have in down stop with these message:

"no permission to write to the disk"
I've tried with 2 different pc, but the result is the same
What could be the cause of this damn message ?
I also tried using defrag program.....nothing.

has anyone had the same problem and managed to solve it ?

I am downloading a copy of WaW and it has 70 parts. On part 15, it says

Hi! It's me again. I'm using VPN to circumvent GFW, but I happened to have bought a month worth of the wrong VPN service that automatically disconnect and reconnect every two hours, which leads to a lot of "aborted, no permission to write to harddsik" files. Should have stuck with the old VPN provider, curiousity kills the cat.

So my question is, can jdownloader automatically restart d/l those files, for example, move them to the end of the cue or something not just leave them dead there? Because all I do is to "enable" them in the morning again and they continue downloading perfectly fine.

Recently, every time when I download from fileserve. I get "No permission to write to hard disk error". I google around and follow the recommendations posted by remi, still the same thing happen. I'm using windows 7 64 bit and the latest jdownloader. And here is the detail log link.

I've been using jdownloader for a long time. But recently i had always encounter this problem. It says i have no permission to write on hardisk. And then the download stop. Although i can enable it and continue to download, it was still a mess because i have to sit there and always on alert on the download. Anyone got solution to that? Here is the log.

do you use p2p at the same time? what firewall/av?

Hello. I get this error mostly with MegaUpload.
I get this error only from 8am to 20pm in the week.
On the wekend and after hours it works fine.

My conclusion is that it is because my internet is "shaped" during peak times.

Some additional symptoms are that the web also times out, and the download speed is like 1 or 2 kb per second.

Hope this helps to shed some more light on the issue.

Can someone tell me why my jdownloader keeps telling me this shit? At first it was ok. Then suddenly this problem came. It always stop downloading and showing me this message. What is happening?

This typically happens when a virus blocks/locks the file. Please read my post #3.

If you can download the files with your browser and not with jD then something else is blocking jD. If your firewall and virus have been removed then only some add-blocking or other http protocol sniffing technology might be blocking it.

i see that this problem happens to many people in the last week so i don't think it's the firewall or virus program's fault, i used JD alot and it never happend to me so many times in such a small period of time.

Then read my post #3 or wait for someone else giving similar advice.

I have a problem for the last few days with JD, downloading from MU, 4 connections and 8 chunks like I always do
Resulting no permissions to write to HD for some of the files , and then JD freezes

Disabled my AV, (microsoft security essentials) disabled router firewall, reinstalled JD and JAVA, changed my download location.
Even connected my pc directly to the modem w/o the router. None helped.

your reported 'write to disk' issue is a false positive. Problem seems to be around connections issues. 'java.net.SocketException: Connection reset'
