Default JDownloader2 install on raspbian

Hello guys,
i'm new to this forum.
Since yesterday i tried to install JD2 on my rpi.
I first tried with the 32 bit installer but i had an error:
"./JD2Setup_x86.sh: 225: ./JD2Setup_x86.sh: bin/unpack200: Exec format error
Error unpacking jar files. The architecture or bitness (32/64)
of the bundled JVM might not match your machine."

So I did a java install as explain in Here and then i installer JD2.

I ran "java -jar JDownloader.jar -norestart" twice to enter my logins as prompted to and now i'm stuck in :
"Update Message: Check for updates
Update Progress: 3%
Update Progress: -1%
Update Message: Contact server...
"Update Message: Check for updates
Start Update
Update Message: Check for updates
Update Progress: 3%
Update Progress: -1%
Update Message: Contact server...
Update Message: Check for updates
Update Progress: 100%"

I'm guessing this is all normal, but it has been more than an hour now . Should i just wait ?

Thanks for all the work and sorry if i missplaced or misstitled the thread.

According to output the installation is complete.
Are you running JDownloader with GUI/head or headless? JDownloader will only ask for MyJDownloader logins on headless installation, else you can setup them in GUI Settings->MyJDownloader

Hello Jiaz, Thanks for the answer.

I have absolutly no idea. I installed java 11.0.7 openjdk and then i download and installed the JD2 java version available on jdownloader.org.
and this
"java -jar JDownloader.jar &"

give me a shitload of error like:

"
" WARNING: An illegal reflective access operation has occurred
WARNING: Illegal reflective access by org.appwork.shutdown.ShutdownController (file:/home/pi/Desktop/JD2install/JDownloader.jar) to field java.lang.ApplicationS hutdownHooks.hooks

INFO >> Prefer (merged) JSon Storage from File: /home/pi/Desktop/JD2install/cfg/org.appwork.utils.logging2.LogConfig.json"

And more.

But i have no GUI on my raspberry. I'm guessing i'm connected with my JD2 logins, because i can send links from another machine to it, but i'm not seeing any download and i don't know how to configure JD2.
And i would like to get a GUI if i can. Did i install the wrong java ?

Thanks again.

EDIT: Oh gosh it's working ? I have access from my.jdownloader.org and i can manage and change parameters. So i'm guessing we're almost all good.
A bit lost but i guess it was my fault.
Could i install a GUI on RPB for it ?

EDIT2: Ok, i don't know what these permissions errors are, but i can download, i did add my accounts, except for those needing a captcha, i'm guessing i need a GUI on my RPI to solve them ?
So everything is good except for the GUI.
Do you have an idea ?

Thanks for your excellent work on this software and the support from the community too ! (i did find most of my answers on it :-) )

Headless JDownloader doesn't provide any GUI. That's what MyJDownloader is for. You can use the Android App or https://my.jdownloader.org to remote control your JDownloader and add/manage downloads and solve Captchas. Recaptcha requires either the Android App or the MyJDownloader browser extension, see https://my.jdownloader.org/apps/

I would not recommend using GUI on Raspberry because this requires a full desktop environment or VNC desktop and also requires more cpu/memory.

Ok ! I get it.
I have the firefox addon MyJDownloader installed on commodo icedragon but i can't see the captcha asked when loggin in.
The pop up opens but i have no pictures to solve from, only the validation and refresh button.
Should i try with another web browser ?
Except from this, it's perfect.

Have a nice day Jiaz !

MAke sure that extensions/browser (eg Ublock Origin) don't block the captcha and Commodo Icedragon might be firefox based but is untested. So yes, try chrome/firefox instead

You have to click Solve Captcha button, then the MyJDownloader browser extension will take over
