Lightbulb New Downloader 3

I have a great idea.
I would like the best download manager to have a radical change, such as changing the programming language implemented and a new design based on Ribbon.

Language: Visual C#
Platform: .NET Core 3
IDE: Visual Studio 2019 Community

To achieve this, you need a translator, as softwares from Tangible Solutions, they have syntax translators to adapt it to the new language.

I could provide the graphical user interface, Visual C# based with ribbon and could be coordinated through Github.

Do you like this project?
Climb and be welcome.

I'm sorry but there are no plans to change language away from java. The most important reason is the multiplatform support by java. JDownloader runs on nearly any hardware that runs minimum Java 1.6.
Minimum hardware requirements are 1 core with around 96MB system memory. I don't think (and to be honest, I don't know) that .net will run on all currently supported cpu architectures (ARM,X86,SPARC,PPC,IA64) nor that there is a .net runtime available for low powered embedded hardware(eg routers) or supports ancient os like OS2.
In the end, I don't see any advantages as you still use a runtime framework (java vs .net) and only change language.
You don't need to change coding language to work on new/modern gui. This needs time, time we don't have.
