Thanks for replying Lram32, much appreciated. It happens whenever I add any link. :( I delete them but they come back the next time I start to download anything. its very frustrating and started after my last update. I now have the jdownloader NIGHTLY build 20186 version 1.7.0_07........does this info help at all?

If you aren't a developer, I suggest to you to use JDownloader 0.9.581 or JDownloader 2 (beta). JDownloader 2 - Beta FAQ http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=37365

Thank you Lram32, I'm such a DUH!
I was so eager to get an update, that would solve my rapidgator problem, that I didn't realize that I'd grabbed the developers' version. I will now replace it with the correct build as suggested (hoping that it doesn't reinstate my original problem of course) Many thanx for your time and attention it is greatly appreciated. |

I wouldn't necessarily agree with Lram32 statement.
Stable > old 4 years + Nightly > old 3 years +, never released as stable, though is maintained as many people use it for multihoster support prior to JDownloader 2. JD2 > our current development platform (and not Nightly), work in progress. All three versions have bugs. the first two versions do not receive non plugin updates as the update system prevents this. This also means no rtmp support (JD2 feature), this means browser related issues like logging into youtube (stable browser issue). Choose the version of JD your happy with, just realise programs contain quirks and you need to decide for yourself which one your comfortable using.
