Default Window not repainting

I am sure its a configuration issue of my server in that the Java window doesn't seem to repaint and I need to close and open Jdownloader2 to get it working.

My system is Debian 9.11
I run Nomachine as my GUI server as its headless so I use it remotely.
My WM is IceWM.
I am on OpenJDK 1.8.0_232

I am including a screenshot showing the window drawing not refreshing.

No idea any way to fix what extras and configurations I may need to do.
Any advice?

Since then I've did some system upgrades upgraded to Debian 10 and packages etc.
I'm monitoring to see if issues still happen.

My setup when it happened was Debian 9 no default GUI and using NoMachine as the X server with IceWM for the window manager and Java 8.

The setup is still the same but Debian 10 with a updated NoMachine etc.

Can be NoMachine issues like this
nomachine.com/de/TR05N06858
bz.apache.org/netbeans/show_bug.cgi?id=95375
or
IceWM <-> Java issue, see
icewm-user.narkive.com/J8ZUxHps/java-windows-is-displayed-off-the-screen-while-using-icewm-window-manager

Maybe this can help
wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Java#Gray_window,_applications_not_resizing_with_WM,_menus_immediately_closing

You can also try newer Java, eg
adoptopenjdk.net
