Default Google Drive - JD2 file speed limit & Plugin Outdated

Dear Staff,
1. JD2 have a speed issue with Google Drive, problem are not number of chunks because if I try download:

one file --> 1,55 MB/s,
two files --> 1,55 MB/s + 1,55 MB/s
three files --> 1,55 MB/s + 1,55 MB/s + 1,55 MB/s

But JD2 can't download over 1,55 MB/s for a single file. With IDM is possible download over 120 MB/s for a single file.
Please try with this link:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

-------

2. Plugin error, outdated, many downloads freeze at 99% !!!

LOG:

08.10.14 16.19.58to08.10.14 16.43.30 jdlog://6132776271141/

Please, help me!

Are you logged in into your Gdrive Account in FDM IDM?
Also, FDM probably uses a lot more connections than JD via default - try using more in JD as well.

About the plugin defect:
Will check your link later.
If you got more failing links, please post them here - with log!

1. No, i don't use FDM but IDM to download big files from Google, but I can download very fast also if I am logged out from my GD account.

2.
Quote:

I use 20 connection for a single file! but speed is always 1.40 - 1,55 MB/s.

I sent you a PM with a video test. Look the difference.
Probably is a JD issue core because speed doesn't depends if I logged in or logged out.

3. defect

Sometimes defect plugin can be caused by a limited download quota for public users setted default by Google to prevent excessive sharing. But if I download from my Google account I have no quota limits.
Is there a method to integrate google account/ google drive account to JD2 so I can download with no quota limits?

I can't use IDM for download folders from GD because some folders have many files within and IDM is a crap like decrypter.

Usually 3-4 connections are enough to get fullspeed
I try to set also 3-4 connections but nothing change..

Sorry, corrected FDM/IDM typo.

I'll check your video.

About the gdrive account implementation:
No, we do not (yet) have gdrive account support, sorry!

If you increase the column width of connection, we can see how many chunks are actually used.

IDM must use the browser cookies because for me, size remains unknown when downloading --> No chunks used/possible.
Chunks probably only work via account which is probably the "speed issue".
I don't have that mich bandwidth here to check it - I get ma 800 KB/s and it works fine for me, sorry...

GreeZ pspzockerscene
EDIT

At least I improved the errorhandling now - this should reduce the "out of date" errors you got!

mmm..what does it mean? IDM downloads my files very fast also if:

- clear all cookies from browsers
- i'm logged out from my GD account

@PSP
If u need you can try with my Google account. Please tell me if u need my credentials.

I always thought that this 1 chunck limitation was caused by google itself. How can I log in my account in JDOWNLOADER? I don´t see its name in the server list.

I think I will wait until is fully implanted, now I am thinking, there is no point doing it when I am triying to download from accounts that are not mine.

But well, I think that I should mention again that Drive has limited it amount of available chuncks to 1 chunck per file.

1. Why do you download with accounts that are not yours?
2. Well that's what I said - the (chunk)limits are probably because you re not using an account when downloading via JD (not posasible (yet)).

For example, when dowloading something shared with me by someone else (and this doesn´t have to mean im reffering to copyrighted stuff).

Anyways, I dont think the limitation is because of this. I have downloaded a 1.2 GB file from one of my personal accounts using DOWNLOADTHEMALL, a download manager for Firefox that allows up to 10 chuncks per file, and although I was downloading the file while I was logged in my account, it only allowed me to use just one chunck.

Well but for that you do not need the account of someone else, right?

You are right. But how can JD be able to do something that other programs can´t? (I mean, allowing more than one chunck per file)

It´s just curiosity. Thanks for your offer, but I will pass. I currently get my full download speed while just one chunck. I just wanted to know why wasn´t possible to get more anymore.:thumbup:

This thread was opened in October 9th, and chuncks were allowed back then I think. The change came by the end of the month, if I remember correctly.

I believe coalado fixed google login issue last week, it should be working. If not please create debug logs, by following the guide at https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs

I also have made a ticket to disable that dialog for select plugins

@RiP
what exactly is the problem, your image provided doesn't happen for this plugin any longer.
chunks are auto set to 1 when errors happen which prevent chunk ranging.

Browsers without any extensions only allow one connection per download, I believe. At least that's my experience using any host.

Yes but I mean exactly what I write - it has never been possible for me, of course I tested it with browser downloadmanagers, other downloadmanagers and directly via JD (not via our plugin).

Got ya. I thought you meant that it was not possible via browser, so it shouldn't be possible via download managers. Of course you knew that. I was sleeping on you. I should have put respeck on your name. My apologies. You brought me many great times as a youth.

I still have mine's as well. I couldn't afford a PS2 so I got the PSP instead. I hacked it by cutting open the battery pack with a razor blade and then ripped all my PS1 games from the disc and played them all portable. Good times.

I used mine for all kinds of things but then Smartphones got better and better and less people were playing the psp online games plus they were very buggy :(

I bought a PSVITA then but it sucked as it had several downgrades (e.g. Sonys custom memory cards plus they were very expensive) - so I sold that again.

That was a major factor of the decline, but the nail in the coffin was when full consoles became cheaper with less gigabyte storage versions.

This is exactly why I never got one. They're a bunch of thieves disguised as businessmen.

Well let me one up your, "all kinds of things" with an, "ALL kinds of things" in the form of a funny story. Well at least it's funny to me now, but it wasn't funny then. When I had gone through puberty in middle school, I discovered porn on the internet through a friend of mine. I didn't have my own laptop then, so as you can see where I'm going with this, I used my PSP. Now one day I hadn't slept for over twenty four hours, due to insomnia, so when I got home from school, I laid back on the couch instead of my room, because no one was home, but me, got the PSP out and put on some porn. At some point in the middle of jacking off I fell asleep with my dick in my hand, due to being exhausted and the porn still on. When I woke up, my dick was still in my hand, but the PSP was gone. At that point I knew I was screwed, because my parents were super religious and didn't approve of that behavior. I slowly walked upstairs to see my dad. He reached into his pocket and pulled out my PSP with the porn still on it, except it was different than the one I was on, which meant he went through my history, gave me this look that I'll never forget and handed it back to me. That was that. We never spoke about it again. HAHAHAHA

@Rip: please send me an example link to support@jdownloader.org and I will check/fix it.
I'm sure just some non rfc stuff going on and thats why JDownloader/Browser fail vs IDM successes.
