followed the guide installed JD on DSM 7,
start with
'java -jar JDownloader.jar -norestart'
could login and found it in myjd
but can't find jd in myjdownloader if start with 'start.sh' or 'java -jar JDownloader.jar'
JD is running actually:

root@DS920:/volume3/@appstore/JDownloader# cat JDownloader.pid
2092

Have you checked that this process also exists?! a pid file alone doesn't mean that the process is running. my guess is that you start JDownloader but forget to put it in background and then close terminal and process is killed then.
