Default 1Fichier - IP will be locked 1h.

Hello,

I'm getting this message (and 1 hour ban) when I'm downloading files from 1fichier. I've got a premium account of course! What is causing this issue?
Tried to Enable API on advanced settings and put my API key on username and password but still the same problem.

I wrote to 1fichier and here is the conversation:

Hello,

Everything is displayed on the website.

We don't count or even see rates in mb

So.. someone with the same problem found a solution?

Than you very much in advance!

In Short: We don't know what exactly does trigger this temp. ban because we did not get any answer to it.
But from reports I would think of followin possible reasons:
- high download speed, -> small files in very fast time -> lots of downloads -> ban
- high download speed -> large files -> faster download -> ban
in general it seems that either high speed or many downloads in certain time window.

you might wanna try to limit download speed and check if that helps or use Eventscripter extension, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525
to wait x seconds after each download to have less downloads in time y
ask mgpai for help with eventscripter

Thank you very much, I've been playing with download speed and seems like 20MB/s It's OK for 1fichier API, but 25MB/s causes a ban..
I'll try Eventscripter to have something to send to 1fichier admins. Seems like they're not respecting their "unlimited rates".

@JuRaSSiCBoY:
Thanks for your feedback!
your experience with limiting speed -> works matches my experience and user reports
now you just have to find out if the speed for a single download is causing it or the amount of downloaded links in time x

After a couple of months testing seems like you are completely right with the two causes of the problem.

Let me add a new one

I've been downloading a long collection of small files (2000+) without problems with my JD2 download speed limited to <20MB/s. Yesterday, the owner put a download password to the collection and that stopped my download when I had 1893 files.
I requested him the password and put it to all the remaining files and as a result I get a 1h ban. It doesn't matter how I configure the JD2 (even with Small Files Wait Interval to 60), I can't download from 1Fichier if the small files are password protected. I 've managed to download 3 small password protected files (<50MB) since yesterday (a little more than 24h).
I've written to 1Fichier again but I am afraid they will answer me the same as always "we don't support JD2".

So why is JD2 the download manager they recommend on their website? It's nonsense.

I'am now in contact with their support.
So your issue is happening via website and API?

I'm unable to reproduce this so it might really be related to the amount of files in the short time but even then at this moment your report is the only report we have about this issue ...

Can I send you an example of "problematic" files? I have JDownloader installed on a server with no web browser available.

Let me send this url to another user I know with the same problem.

Thank you!!

I remember when 1fichier allowed passwords of less than 5 characters and there were no problems downloading files that had a password.

then 1fichier updated its system to put a mandatory password on files of 6 or more characters.

Is it possible that this has not been updated correctly in the JD and therefore you are now having problems with 1ficher passwords?

No.
Also we've never had a user input limit for 1fichier passwords in place.

@JuRaSSiCBoY
I've investigated this together with the 1fichier support.
They're trying to allow only the amount of requests typically necessary so it seems like JD was just using too many in a short time.
One of the possible reasons were password protected files in big folders like in your example:
JD did not "know" that those files were password protected before actually trying.
This ment that for each link, at least one additional request was required.

After the next update, JD will know the password status once you are adding new URLs.

Please keep this in mind:
- Works only for items added AFTER the next update
- Works only in API mode for now (= login in JD via apikey!)

Now I'm unsure whether or not this will help - you will just have to try.
If you are experiencing issues again, please post a log!

Also, you should add an account usage rule for 1fichier to force JD to always use premium mode for this host!

@pspzockerscene

Thank you very very very much!!! I'll give it a try when the update becomes ready and report here if the problem is gone. I'm already using the API key on username and password and Premium 1fichier API is enabled on JD, so it's all ready to test! I'll re-add the entire library to check it well.

On the other hand, there are any news about the download speed >20MB/s = 1h ban? 1fichier support says there is no download limit (I wrote them) but its obvious if you don't limit JD to something < 20MB/s you get a ban.

is maybe something like the number of connections/petitions with the files protected with password but this time with the number of connections dedicated to a faster download?

Thanks again!!

I just wanted to say that I had the same problem as @JuRaSSiCBoY 2 days ago and I'm happy to test + provide any logs if there are still any issues after the next update.

Thank you @pspzockerscene for helping us! Also, thanks to @JuRaSSiCBoY and @AlvRo for raising this issue!

Taking the opportunity, I would like to ask two things:

(1) I'm using a docker container with JD2 (jlesage/jdownloader-2) and I wanted to confirm with you, @pspzockerscene, the update/version number that will have this critical 1fichier update. I understand that I can check JD2 version in Help -> About JDownloader, but I'm not sure what to look for there.

(2) As @JuRaSSiCBoY, I'm also interested in the current safe limit for continuous download from 1fichier. Personally, I was getting errors at any speed with username + password, but after changing to API key I've been continuously downloading at 10MB/s (1 download, 1 chunk) for about 12h.

1fichier support has told me the same:
There are no strict connection limits.
All existing limits are shown here:
1fichier.com/hlp.html#dllent
Our plugin is currently hardcoded limited to max. 3 connections per file and max. 10 simultaneous downloads which is a total max. of 30 connections which is okay according to the 1fichier admin.
This means that, in theory you cannot exceed any of these limits via JD no matter which settings you are using.

I've now completely reviewed our 1fichier plugin!
Please test it after the next update.
And - I'm sorry to repeat myself but:
We cannot help you without logs!

Thank you again! now It's working for me without an update and without changing the configuration Max simultaneous downloads is set to "1", yesterday it was the same value and I get the 1h ban.
I'm completely lost. I'll share my JD2 logs if the problem recurs!

EDIT: I said nothing, after a few successful downloads I get another 1h ban. Crossed fingers with the new update!

Again there are limits but JD is trying not to exceed them thus it doesn't matter which settings you choose in JD.

I've just fixed an issue I've accidently added yesterday:
Password protected files were not downloadable anymore in website premium download mode.

Hi! thank you very much again, It seems like we start to move forward. I've been able to download 2000+ small files with a single strange behavior: every file has a folder with (in theory) the same name of the file that contains. Now JD2 name those folders like: "yGsrPfid", "KhgDLpgoy", "SdopjtDbhng"... and so on. Files inside those folders are named correctly.
I have added a list of links with more than 4000 files right now and received a 1 hour ban right after adding the files. So I think there is another restriction which must be the number of files to add.

Here is the log: jdlog://3413725302851
(Please tell me if I have generated it well)

Is there a typo in your sentence or have I failed to understand it?
I guess you mean that:
- Some folders have files with the same names as files in orther folders
- Folder titles in JD are wrong?
Please post another log and example foldr URLs!

Sorry I've been busy until today. I mean that before the JD2 update and after adding the 1fichier files to the linkcollector, JD2 shows the folders and files this way:

"file1todownload/file1todownload.zip"

And then when the file has been download correctly I have "file1todownload/file1todownload.zip" on my HDD.

After the JD2 update and after adding the 1fichier files to the linkcollector JD2 shows the folders and files this way:

"5384f08bblcx5teya20h/file1todownload.zip"

And then when the file has been download correctly I have "5384f08bblcx5teya20h/file1todownload.zip" on my HDD.

So the naming of the folders seems wrong.

How can I provide you with a more accurate log?

Thanks!

I either still don't understand or it's just working fine here.
Here is a test folder I've uploaded:
1fichier.com/dir/eHcFON9N
--> I get one package called "test" which is the name of that folder.
Which result do you get?

Well, I've downloaded the "1mb.test" and the "testupload_SampleVideo_1280x720_5mb.mp4" without problems. But I see the password protected file (10MB.rar) is showing in my JD2 as "dqej98k5jf"... I don't know the password but I think the problem is with password protected files.

Password: 123456
That is strange!
For password protected files which get added as part of folders, the filenames should be visible right away.

Also, folder-names should be set correctly.
Please provide another folder-URL for testing and

So you're basically saying that:
- Folder names are not set correctly (instead, folderID is used as a fallback)
- For password protected files that are part of folders, you can't see the correct filenames until the download is started
?

Please provide example URLs and logs for both cases.

I'll mark this as solved as we didn't get any further feedback.

This thread will stay open so if you experience any issue just post them here!
