UnArchive now extremely slow
log posted:
05.04.15 08.57.05to05.04.15 15.29.49 jdlog://0446214718241/ I noticed this beginning yesterday. I had downloaded and was unRARing some large files (eg 7GB) which I had not done for a while. The unarchive was incredibly slow - taking an hour or more. When I manually unRAR'd the files on the same drive it only took 2-3 minutes using WinRAR, which is normal. The drive is an SSD with 200GB+ free space, regularly TRIMmed. It easily reads and writes 200MB/sec. Same thing today. The log posted is while unRARing a large video file. Nobody else is reporting this so I suppose it's something wrong with my setup. My only clue is that for a few days recently I had auto-unRAR disabled. It's when I re-enabled this that my problem began. Last edited by Arbie; 06.04.2015 at 01:08. |

What archive type is it? 7zip archives are known to be "slow".
1 Hour for 7GB is definitly too much. Also check Settings-Advanced Settings -> search for extraction CPUPriority should be set on HIGH.
