The problem is that it's inconsistent, and thus unexpected.
Most links work even if they are not URL-encoded, even if they contain apostrophes, commas, and spaces. Unexpectedly, these characters in the specific order `', ` don't work. This was difficult to notice and track down. Why support some links with apostrophes, commas, and spaces, but not all? Why is the order `', ` problematic, but other arrangements of these characters are okay? Last edited by SMS; 15.01.2021 at 16:36. |

You should always urlencode stuff that you place into an URL
