Vanced is outdated for a long time.
It not working anymore for you and many other users is no news.

There is a similar project which also contains "vanced" in the name which I'm not going to link here.
Your Vanced issues are unrelated to JDownloader.

Also maybe try with VPN. The connection reset can be caused by local system (driver/firewall/av) or router/modem or ISP or server.

I was expecting to see a RST too, or at least a FIN, but there wasn't one. Happy to send you the full pcap if you wish.

I was originally using a VPN, but it was Google One, so I'm inherently suspicious of it. But, notwithstanding it presented the same error.

I'd like to try with another download tool. Which would you recommend?

you may also test different variant(resolution,codec) to see if the issue is consistent with other variants

Bei einer Version wird der VideoID ein "P" hinzugefügt.

but it always end up in status "Host problem?"

Video can be played in browser. Description and image download works. Other videos download also works. I tried to make the download from multiple places for about a week, but the result is still the same.

@Kraken: thanks, Issue is with yt, it fails in browser (for me in chrome, firefox) as well. you have to change variant to lower resolution,eg via rightclick, to 720, mp4 container

Well color me mistaken, because I tried about 10 different links this morning from 10 different channels and they were all moving along nicely. Might've been an overnight issue, or overnight YT thing, not sure but all seems well for me now. Thanks anyway
