I didn't know JD couldn't do the email method for you. That's fine, so let's re-phrase my request: After I submit my email and postal, the email I get from NoiseTrade contains the following...
To begin the download, click on the link below and if prompted, copy/paste your code in the field:
***url here***
(If you cannot click on the link above, copy and paste the URL into your browser)
This download is only possible on a desktop or laptop computer and not via iPhones, iPads, or other similar devices. Download the music to your hard drive and then sync through iTunes or another application.
...I'd like to be able to use JD instead of my browser to manage the actual downloading of the file by either adding the url from the email or the resulting webpage's download button url, which is an amazonws link. But now that I'm noticing that the download button is an href link instead of a form button, I'll need to test that amazonaws link in JD to see if it already works. Still would be nicer if the email link was all I had to paste into JD; would save a couple clicks and time.
Bandcamp downloads work similarly. After I enter my email address, I get an email with a url in it, so would be nice if I could just add the url from the email into JD and initiate the file download instead of clicking through to Bandcamp's download page and clicking that download link or having to copy that download link.
