Hi, Just wondering if jdownloader 2 has a speed restriction on it as default and if so how can I turn it to unlimited as jdownloader 1 I used to get 900k but with 2 I can only get 200 to 220k both using uploaded premium account any help would be appreciated other wise I'll just use 2 for youtube vids as 1 doesn't link to them anymore for some reason and I'll stick with downloader 1 for everything else. thanks in advance

Oh and I also had a look in advanced settings at download speed but changing that didn't make any difference to max speed only slowed it if I lowered it


How do I delete this post as the problem I was having with jdownloader1 was the vevo problem not all youtube so I'll stick with that instead of trying to solve the jdownloader 2 speed problem I have.

by default JD speed limiter is disabled and set to 0. (unlimited)

It's more than likely that JD2 doesn't have the same exemptions in your security software. It starts with jdownloader2.exe, and not jdownloader.exe.

or

your connection settings (max con per file * max dl) in are different between the two versions.

Thanks for that, I didn't even think about chunks per file, set it to 10 and that solved it. thanks again
