Default pornhits.com How to rename filename as Website Title

Hello,

I have spent a good amount of time trying to read old posts but have gotten stuck. Lets say I want to download the video from **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I use Video DownloadHelper to extract the link of the video and JDownloader recognizes it. But I would like the file to have the same title as that url. In this example, I would like the title to be :"🔥The Sensual Suck Down - Chloe Scott - This Girl Sucks - Pornhits.com" instead of "81143_hq.mp4" which is what its showing up as on Jdownloader.

I tried to use packagizer to write this rule but i am very bad at it, any direction would be great. I included my attempt: Thanks

I'm sorry but that won't be possible with VDH Extension, because this extension neither doesn't forward the title, nor any reference to the current URL/website, so JDownloader only receives the final URL to the video

LinkCrawler rules also don't work because website uses Javascript to hide the final URLs

Thanks for the response, do you know of a way to configure video downloadhelper or any other extension that can be used together with JDownloader that can convey the website title to the file name?

I'm sorry but I don't know any. Maybe other community members do know such an extension or maybe a way to combine multiple one.

If there was a way to correctly provide the referer when adding direct-URLs via VideoDownloadHelper, you could simply set the video title which is inside the initial URL as filename e.g.:
Code:
pornhits.com/video/123456/here-is-a-title/

I tried messing around with the "Smart naming rules" function in video download helper, but no luck. Thanks for the help either way!

I attached images of all the available automated attempts that I tried. I'm not too savy so I might be missing something obvious but no matter which method i try, JDownloader still shows "81143_hq.mp4" as the file name. Thank your for your effort!

Just checked, the "Smart naming rules" only work when downloading directly in browser. The extension doesn't export/forward the name to external tools

Yap that's what I ment.

I guess as a workaround, you could also use some kind of outside macro* which adds the relevant part of the main URL (the filename part) with an anchor to the directURL --> Then use a packagizer rule to set that as a filename.

* I'm sorry but I can't give any directions here - you will have to do some googeling and look for such solutions.

Code:
/*
    Build download url from VDH 'details' page
    Trigger : New crawler job
*/

try {
    url = job.text.match(/video\nurl\s\n(.+?)\n/)[1];
    title = job.text.match(/title\s\n(.+?)\n/)[1];
    job.text = url + "#title=" + title;
} catch (e) {};
  • Open 'details' page in extension and copy the content to clipboard.
  • Create packagizer rule to extract the 'title' from the download url and set it as filename.

Thanks for the help friend, but I looked everywhere for the "details" page in the extension, and can't seem to locate it.

Click on 'details' button. It will open a page which contains url, title and and other information about the video. Copy it to clipboard. The script (which has to be added to the eventscripter extension in JD) will build url from that data.

I really appreciate the help but I think I'm just not savy enough to implement it. I put the script you wrote in eventscripter and copied the details to clipboard but don't know how to write the packagizer rule. I might be to hopeless for this, thank you for your effort anyways!

Packagizer rule:
Code:
if > sourceurls(s) > contains > #title=*
then set > filename > <jd:source:1>.<jd:orgfiletype>

So sorry for my ignorance, but I am missing something obvious I think. I attached my packagizer and event scripter entries. After doing that, I go to details of a video and then ctrl+A -> ctrl+C to highlight and copy all text on the details page, and then JDownloader recognizes it and adds a file to the linkgrabber. But this still has the filename of "81143_hq.mp4"
