Limit individual downloads speed.
You can limit the download speed of JDownloader but not each file you are downloading.
What if one file is sucking up most of my connection speed? |

It works the other way. Not one file sucking up the most of the speed but this one server pushes way more data than the other host. The client(JDownloader) cannot set/limit speed but only can limit *read speed from network* and because of that network buffer will fill up and the sender is getting packet loss and reduce sending speed.

At the moment that's not supported and won't be supported in near/far future. This is more complex than it sounds and you can find several topics/talks here in forum about it
