Despite clicking the checkbox "Don't show this again"
the message warning still pops up again after rebooting pc or restarting jdownloader

Please fix this

working fine here and no changes at all in that area.
looks like JDownloader is not able to save that config file or something deletes that file (eg auto cleanup tools/scripts)

Close JDownloader, delete cfg/Dialogs.json file in your JDownloader directory, see https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...tion-directory
and check again.
