Not sure if this will be accepted but it probably wouldn't hurt to ask?

As far as I can see, they're using KVS Player v6. But any attempts I've tried to download this or at least get some links for JD2 have failed. Closest I got was downloading it straight using VDH but it always ends early and I only get the first few minutes of the videos.

They also have a wide range of qualities available if an option to select them can be added through Settings. Thank you!

Hello.

JD is not able to download some of the older videos on the website. They do appear in the linkgrabber, but with a question mark (?) in their availability status.
The videos themselves play normally, so it's not a problem with the website.

A second request if you guys don't mind

I tried to add a linkcrawler rule to rename grabbed packages using the <title> tag.
But it's not working for me. I still get the original package names.

Here's my added json. I checked my regex patterns on regex101 and they're correct.

Works fine here.
Try to download them and see which error message you will get.
If in doubt, provide a log.

This will not work for thepornbang.com since those URLs are handled by the plugin.

Yes, I can clean the hashtags later using a packagizer rule or manually.
So if I understand correctly, there is no solution? :(

If you want to remove them, why do you want to add them in the first place then?
It looks like we are talking past each other.

Here, JDownloader already finds the correct title (without the tags) so I don't really understand the problem.
Please provide detailed, real-life examples on which filenames you are getting now and which ones you would like to get.

According to your logs, all available video qualities of all videos you've tried resulted in an empty page (it's working fine here).
As to why that is: No idea.
Maybe you got blocked by Cloudflare?

If you are using a proxy/VPN, disable it and try again.
If you are not using one, use one and try again.

the <title> tag in the page source contains more information about the video (scene name + performer + series name) which is what I want.

The current behavior of the plugin is to provide only the scene name.
what I meant by cleaning the hashtag, was simply removing the "#" symbol but not the other text.

example:
in this link the video title is

I've enabled the internal "fast linkcheck" so that the plugin causes less http requests - with a bit of luck this may help.

I'am very unsure about just changing the default name to that since I don't know what the other users want so for the next update, the plugin will set the title tag as plugin property "title" which you can set as filename via Packagizer, see:

All is working now.

Links are now online. And I can use the <jd:prop:title> to grab the tag.

Though file sizes don't appear until the download starts. but no complaints.

Yeah that is due to my changes.

I guess checking for the file size right away must have triggered some kind of rate-limit.
Maybe that only happened when adding multiple links - I only tested with single links so it never happened to me.
