Live YouTube links just won't download. I tried video links from Facebook, Instagram & Twitter & they all worked. YouTube started doing this last night. Until then all the links worked OK. I reentered my cookie login & it says account is OK. Tried links from mainline news pages. Same result. Tried updating. Didn't help.

Alle Downloadversuche von YouTube resultieren seit heute in der Meldung "Kurzzeitig nicht verfügbar", obwohl die Videos unter YouTube abgespielt werden können. Sieht so aus, als ob JDownload jetzt von YouTube blockiert wird.

I have the same problem! Interestingly, it worked for a few videos. Unfortunately, most of them don't work.

Once again we have to wait and hope that the competent people behind jdownloader will find a solution. I hope so!

Kann es aber bestätigen, aktuell geht kein YT Video.

BTW, die age-restricted Videos gehen seit mehreren Wochen nicht mehr, wo andere YT Downloader kein Problem haben. YTDLnis für Android lädt alles runter. Sehr seltsam im Moment.

Don't know what happened, but nothing would download for nearly a day. Don't know if it was YouTube because I found another program that did download from them. Wasn't nearly as convenient as Jdownloader, but it did work.

I don't know if this is helpful information, but just in case, a few videos that for the last week haven't worked for me (which were membership videos that required a login) just worked sometime in the last thirty minutes to one hour, though NOT all of them, despite being from the same channel.

Similarly, a number of videos I've just added failed immediately with the "Temporarily Unavailable" message (none of these are videos that require a login), BUT videos that displayed the "Temporarily Unavailable" message a couple of hours ago (that also didn't require login) just downloaded at or around the same time. Maddeningly inconsistent. Anyway, just wanted to post in case the staff get any clue from timing as to what's going on.

Hey, I'd like to let developers know that I'm unable to download from youtube

It happened the other day too, then it worked some hours later

Hello! Things have taken a turn for the worse, apparently... JDownloader now doesn't allow for any YouTube video download, I wanted to update because before the problem only blocked +18 YouTube video downloads, but now it has spread to pretty much any video on the platform... I had a list of 48 videos, and only 2 were downloaded...

My current experience is that shorts go through, "normal" videos don't. Time to catch up on all these missed shorts!

Is the youtube plugin broken again? after an update, I try to download and everything immediately timeouts and a green ! icon appears with a 30 minutes countdown.

Can confirm this is the same for me this morning in Australia. Starting regular links gives me a "tempoarily unavailable" error, but youtube shorts links are fine.

Ich hab dasselbe Problem. Wobei es heute Abend einige Stunden lang ging, aber danach trat das Problem wieder auf.
Ich hab mit VPN meine IP geändert, falls YT den Traffic pro Person drosselt, aber das hat auch nichts gebracht.

Me too. I can't download anything from YT with JD2 including non sign-in videos that don't require cookies added. I hope this fix comes soon. It's getting worse.

Muss mich leider anschließen - kann seit Tagen auch keine Videos von Youtube über JD laden. Es steht immer dort: "Kurzfristig nicht verfügbar".

I've been able to get the google video link from Televzr download browser extension to come through JDownloader. The video comes in as a silent movie, and the audio again has to be downloaded separately. But that's the only way I've been able to get any footage at the moment.

Es gab hier kein Update, sondern die Änderung welche vor einigen Wochen langsam ausgerollt wurde, wurde nun vollständig ausgerollt und somit geht der "Weg" den JDownloader nahm nicht mehr. Durch die vollständige Ausrollung der Änderung hat auch die Erkennung nicht mehr gegriffen weshalb nichts mehr ging. Mit dem Update von gerade eben wurde der alte Weg vollständig deaktiviert und es wird ausschließlich der neue Weg genutzt, welcher derzeit noch kein Login/Account Support bietet.

Please check latest updates but be aware that yt is rolling out blocking/show stopper changes and it's only matter of time till current way will be no longer possible as well. Videos that do require being logged in won't work at the moment, login/account support is missing in new way but will be worked on.

I guess it's only matter of time (rather less than long) till current known/used methods no longer will be possible.

At the moment there is no solution available to this situation. Community is already looking at this situation as it does affect all tools.

I'm no developer. But isn't there a way to merge yt-dlp into Jdownloader? Have it download the files in the background and then present the data into JD as if JD was the one doing the work? :c

Der Youtube to Mp3 Downloader lädt wieder Musik wie Gewohnt da wurde nen Update gemacht das auch Funktioniert.
Beim JD hat es eben auch wieder Funktioniert.

Hallo zusammen

Seid ca. 2Tagen kann ich nichts mehr von Youtube runterladen.
Es kommt immer die Nachricht in der Statuszeile:Kurzzeitig nicht verfügbar.
Das ist bei allen Youtubefiles.
Von anderen Seiten ein Download kein Problem.
Habe nichts geändert oder so.
Bitte bei Antworten nicht so viel Fachsprache.Bin kein Computergenie.

Not to be a party pooper but, the new update today either worked for a little while and it's no longer working, or it just isn't working for me. But, I'm still getting Temp Unavail for all YT video links. Fresh PC reboot, ver'd I have the latest version, reset links, added brand new links.

I'll keep waiting, no worries. I know folks are diligently working.

Have you recently tried downloading YT videos? As in, in the last hour or so? I'm trying now, no luck.. Beginning to think it IS just me..
