Default [Not Solved]JDownloader forgets what sections it has downloaded

Ive been noticing this for a while now, sometimes JDownloader will forget the parts that is had downloaded already if you have a multiple part download after you close and restart it.

For example if you download parts 8 9 and 10 of something, you close the program and then go back to it, it will say thoes parts havnebt been downloaded yet.

Its just annoying.

I think Ive narrowed it down, It only seems to happen if you shutdown or restart your pc with JDownloader still running

Well no, it should be able to save data when you shut down the pc by itself, like every other downloader out there.

If you have a long download thats gonna take a day or two your not always gonna remember to exit jdownloader before you shut your pc down, usually you forget its even running if you have it minimized to the tray.

This is really something that should be fixed.

This post shouldnt be marked as solved either.

i added a hook that database will get saved when java shuts down. this only works if java has enough time to do this

this will not work with forced shutdown, killcommands or termination of java

Sounds good, I know it cannot be expected to work if you hard reset or kill java but as long as it saves when you shut down/restart regularly then thats great.

Thanks! and Cheers, this is definetly the best downloader out there, and only getting better by the seems of it.
