Starting JD Prompts for Survey
Starting JD Prompts for the Survey. It has an OK button, but no CANCEL.
This forces the browser open (which can take minutes). This is a serious breach of expectations for a product like JD. What happens if the language is not English? What if no browser is configured? (I have not tested these) |

The jD Team have always been full of surprises.
I haven't seen the survey, because I don't allow automatic updates. I would like to have it on this website, otherwise I'll not be able to reply. Warning for all customers of jD :- backup your jD folder before you update. You never know what the next invention will be. Last edited by remi; 17.01.2010 at 12:35. |

I propose a simple workaround, worked for me:
1. Click OK. 2. Take survey and help JD. 3. Close browser. It's easy as that. |

@ elyz
I agree with you. I took the survey right away. I have been working at user interfaces for too many years not to be concerned when people are forced to a web page. It is considered an insult by many people. I suppose they could say that in the comments at the end. |
