Hi,

an error description would be very nice ...

Looking at your log, I can see several (over 20) CRC errors happening.
CRC errors can be caused by:
- Bad RAM
- Bad HDD
- Multihosters sending cached content (I see you're using simply-debrid.com here)
- Broken files on server (very unlikely)

Can you extract these files manually without errors or do you get errors from your extraction software then?

-psp-
EDIT

I've asked the simply-premium.com admin regarding caching - you will have to check the rest on your own

so since the files were not renamed to .rar and stayed .rar.part, I renamed them manually and tried to extract from within jdownloader. didn't work.
I can try to extract them via some unpacker on that person's mac.

three files have CRC error messages. They've been redownloaded twice with the same result.

if they are still .part then the download is incomplete (assumption). renaming and crc checking will result in crc failure in this case.

jd2 says it's 100% (the parts have been downloaded twice already) but it shows the CRC error when checking. Re-checking these files manually within jd2 does nothing. they stay with the error.
so where's the issue then? I can't re-check, re-download doesn't solve it. What can I do?

not 100% sure what is causing this, maybe virus scanner locking the file preventing the part rename from happening. Though if that was the case you most likely end up with two files. one with part and one without as it will try and copy it vs 'move(renaming)&delete old'.

what security software are you using?
have you checked the hardware components that psp mentioned in his original response?

whatever mac is using. which I think is none.

> have you checked the hardware components that psp mentioned in his original response?
no but the system isn't showing any signs of problems. wouldn't it redownload properly though?

just called the guy. told me he was able to download the files and extract them. the funny thing is i remember this isn't the first time this happened on his machine. I'll take a closer look at his machine when possible.
thank you two for your assistance
