Default Bypass time limitation before downloads with socks5 nordvpn

hi everyone,

I'm already using nord vpn socks5 proxy with jdown, and I'm looking for a way to change my ip adress, beetween every download, to bypass hosting service time limitation.

Hope someone could share a solution with me.

Thanks

@ujhefuh: As you cannot alter the outgoing WAN IP of the socks5 proxy, you can either
1.) (very easy) add multiple socks5 proxies of your VPN provider (eg different server/location..) to Settings-Connections
2.) (more complex) setup a *dummy* proxy that just forwards traffic to a fix vpn proxy and create a script that changes the forward/tunnel endpoint on command. and then setup this script in JDownloader reconnect settings so JDownloader can trigger proxy IP change
I would recommend 1. JDownloader will then auto switch to next proxy or use them in parallel when you enable
Settings->Advanced Settings->GeneralSettings.freeproxybalancemode

In case you need further help/got questions, just ask

Thanks for your fast and detailled answer.

I tried the number 1 solution, I think I set up everything as you suggested.
But I still have a 30min wait beetweeen two download from the same provider, and I don't have parralel download even after enabling GeneralSettings.freeproxybalancemode.

I added a second free uptobox account, but it didn't work.

I added some screenshots, so you can tell me if I'm doing wrong.
I can switch the JDown interface to english, if you prefer, tell me.

And can you change the "solved" statut of this thread, because I didn't manage yet to make it work?

thanks again.

@ujhefuh: I'm sorry but you didn't state that you're using free account.
JDownloader will NOT use multiple proxies or proxy rotation in combination with accounts due to high risk of account getting banned/blocked with parallel use of account with multipe IPs or many IPs in short time.

possible solutions:
1.) don't use accounts and only use normal free (no account) mode
2.) create/use multiple accounts, this won't make reconnect/use different IPs work, but you can concurrently use the accounts and download multiple files at the same time over different connections/proxies. for this to work you have to use whitelist mode and only allow a specific account in combination with a connection/proxy
