the speed limiting code, I believe works in the fashion you have 10 downloads running it does 9MiB/sec / 9 downloads = 1MiB/sec each. Now if some of those 9 do not do its full allocation the others can not use the availability.

where as speed limiter off, i believe is free for all.

please wait for Jiaz to respond for offical response.

No changes at all since years and laste update is from 08.05.2020, and speed limiter limits speed per connection, not overvall!
Example: You can download 10 mbyte/s
set Speed limit to 5 mbyte/s with 2 downloads/each 1 connection
so it is 5/2 = 2.5 mbyte/s max for each connection. In case one connection does not saturate this, then it's lost speed.

400 connections is LITTLE too much, 10mbyte/s / 400 = is about 25 kbyte/s for single connection. I would stick to normal values like 1-8 downloads with 1-4 connections

thanks for the followup feedback.

I don't believe anything changed on our end. So the speed issue (slow download on some of your transfers) fixed itself on the server end.

nods or issue at your ISP. sometimes at peak times they run out of bandwidth for select/popular hosts.

twitch uses HLS which means, downloads are segmented into small files. These get up to speed and before too long they complete and have to start another segment. This happens over and over for hundreds of parts. You can not maintain high speeds well with small segmented downloads. My advice do not use speed limiter, and only start enough downloads to max out your connection/desired speed depending on which host it comes from. you can set different limits for different hosts in advanced setting domain rules, or use the advanced setting feature to start more downloads when desired speed hasn't been achieved
