HTAccess Doesn't Work?
I just got a paid subscription to a website (Met-Art) and I'd like to use JDownloader to download picture sets, but every time I click on a set to download it asks for my username and password, even though I have both listed on the HTAccess page. I'm not entirely sure how to do a log... every time I try to upload one, all I get is a page that says "Access forbidden. Logs are only accessible for supporters as they might contain private data. If you are not a supporter, please hand this link to your supporter:"

copy the url in the address bar, its uploaded just the general public and even the uploader doesn't get access to view it.
We protect the pastebin so personal info gathered and user:passwds are not stolen

@raztoki
Are you sure you nderstood what he means? @solrage The HTAccess login feature doesn't seem to work correctly in the current Stable version of JD. Please either wait for the next MAJOR update (eta unknown) or use the NIHGHTLY version of JD. GreeZ pspzockerscene

Hmmm, I'm on the NIGHTLY page and have read a few threads, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do or what it's supposed to do once I've done it... I downloaded the Nightly Batch File and opened it, but I can't tell it's doing anything...

Copy your current jD installation to new folder (i.e. c:\jDNightly), run windows command line: Start -> and in Search/Run field type: CMD
In opened Window Command Line type these commands: cd c:\jDNightly - press Enter java -jar jdupdate.jar -branch NIGHTLY - press Enter. Your jD in c:\jDNightly will update itself to Nightly release |

Thanks for the walk-through, editestowy.
EDIT: OK, I tried this and got the message that: "'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file" in the Command Prompt window. So I guess it's still not working. Last edited by solrage; 28.01.2012 at 01:56. |

this message just means that it seems you have 32bit iin 64bit windows installed
install 64bit java so the command works in cmd too or use the full command line c:\program files\java...\bin\java.exe

Ok, thanks. I've got Nightly working, but I still have to enter a username and password to download sets from the websites. Is there a way to fix it on the Nightly?
