Default Customizing Packagizer Rule

Hi. Is there any way to customize the predefined packagizer rule (or to create a custom one) for auto-creation of sub-folders? For example, I don't want a sub-folder to be created for everything...only for packages that contain a minimum number of files (say, 3 or more files).

Thanks!

No, package customiser rules do not work on package count. They only work on links that match rule. They have no feedback over existing package size.

Thanks for the reply, raztoki.

Is there any way to write a custom rule for this, or, could this be something that could be implemented in a future release?

Either way, I appreciate the help.

Thanks!

at this stage, it wont be possible, because package customiser rules are applied before adding the link to linkgrabber tab. You could write a custom hack outside package customiser easier I would say, but I don't see Appwork or other supporters writing this ourselves.

The other maybe easier solution if you know Javascript would be use the Eventscripter. I'm sure it be possible within that framework. Maybe mgpai will notice this thread and give some feedback.

Unfortunately, no coding background. I could probably do it with an existing template to work with, but anything from scratch is not currently possible for me.

It's not a big deal, either way. The program is great, as-is, for sure.

Thanks, again.

Minimum threshold to create subfolders and the option to count names or number of links for the same can be specified in Settings > Advanced Settings

LinkgrabberSettings: Subfolder Threshold
LinkgrabberSettings: Subfolder Count

that works on every subfolder rule, as this defines how the subfolder rule pattern is evaluated. we could also include it as additional option direclty into pattern if someone needs finer customization
