Default My info on mediafire problem

Don't know if this will count as extra info, however I'm getting the error from files in the server Mediafire as "Plugin error (out of date)". I have the last version from JDownloader 0.9.579. It has happened to me with various files, most of them actually, however, some of them manage to get downloaded (don't know why, it happens if I resest many many times). I have configurations as Max Downloads per host = 1, Max. Con. (Max connections) = 1 and Max.Dls. (Max Simultaneos downloads) = 1.

2 example links in which I couldn't accomplish download even after many "Resets" (Yellow arrow) are:

- **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
- **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

And my logfile is attached, sorry if it's a little long, however I tried several times during the day to see if it worked.

I hope you can resolve this problem soon.

Best of luck and health, and thank you very much for your work. Cyas.

well, here come back me again..to update you all with some of the trick to download using jdownloader..

for example if your download link is
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
remove download.php to something similar to below
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

and you should be able to detect the full file size..
anyway, i was actually able to download happily yesterday, but today it sudden shows (plugin error (out of date))
i was about to download from mediafire using orbit using this similar trick

update: and suddenly, i was about to download one of the file again after a few resume clicks...picture attached

and so, do i need to attach my date of screenshot taken?

if you need it so badly make the plugin yourself, otherwise wait until the dev guys have the time and will to make it instead of pressure them to work for free in their free time.

and this problem was reported here.

Moderator: Please move the starter message to the correct thread in [English] Hoster Plugins (as another sample).

Others: I think what Martov is saying is that the JD developers are volunteers and there are not enough of them. There is a call out for volunteers who know Javascript well to work on these plugins.

As Jiaz has said many times. You have to be patient. Hoster plugins are prioritized by the number of downloads it affects and by which developers have the experience to work on that site.

Mediafire is great, but the need isn't as great as for some other hosts. If you have a few Mediafire links, just download them with a browser. If you have dozens of Mediafire links to download, add a note to the appropriate thread indicating why this is high priority.

Because all jd developers do this in their free time and only if they're in the mood to fix it

No, can you see the downloadlink in the source code ?
No you can't because you only get it by executung scripts and so on...

Cool

Mediafire (MF) is the most important so-called one click host in the world after RS. The Alexa Traffic Rank of MF currently is 66. It has now clearly overtaken MU and will soon overtake RS as well, which is clearly degrading and has become very slow or inaccessible for free-loaders during peak-hours. Saying that MF is unimportant is showing that you don't know anything about OCHs.

MF has been my preferred host for a long time and I'm proud to be a free-loader. It's fast, I can download multiple files simultaneously, no wait times and it has no Captchas nor reCaptchas. You don't need an account for an excellent service with features other hosts don't offer and I'm convinced they have the smartest people, marketing wise and technical.

jD's plug-in has been broken several times and it always took weeks to repair. I got used to that.

If you can wait, then just store all your MF links in a text file, waiting for the plug-in to be repaired. As soon as it is repaired download them all until the plug-in breaks again.

If I can't wait, I use a simple tool, Free Download Manager, and it does a great job. The only inconvenience is that you need to stay around, because the links can time out.

What I do is open (in background tab) 4 to 6 links in my browser. Send them one by one to FDM and the tool does the rest. The only time you waste is waiting for MF to get its links ready for download and that takes a few seconds.

HI. i have read everything up to now.

I add myself to the list of people that want to download (almost 30 GB of anime content stored there, and i want to make then mine.)

Please, let us know when this will work. Don't add my log because at this point is useless. Take your time, but please give us a valid tool to download !

thank you for the advice to set max connections to 1. that alone didn't do the trick; i also had to set max downloads to 1, but now jdownloader proceeds through the entire mediafire package one by one.

that's not quite as good as before, but at least i don't have to babysit it like i would if i had to download manually.

thank you for working on it. jdownloader remains my favourite download manager.

Just signed up to mention that I've been having the mediafire plugin error problem for a while, too, but I noticed yesterday that I can get MF links to work by selecting them and clicking "resume" or "reset". It usually takes several attempts but eventually they all get going.

Not a perfect solution, to be sure, but it does work.

Of course there is now explanation. The JD devs have more important things to do than writing senseless tutorials. If you were a developer and can handle scripts, contact the JD devs and support them.
Otherwise first read a thread, then learn writing (plagin?).
@the rest: Pls stop posting that the mediafire plugin won't work for you either. We all know this and the devs are working on it.
@topic: An example link for the devs which is only 20 MB big.
