Default Fix filesize measurments

https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=58404

None of the reasons given by the English support staff even relate to the reality that the measurements in Jdownloader2 aren't used anywhere else. Does it make you guys feel special using a non-standard measurement?

It just makes the product look amateur and makes it harder for users.

Quoting from the wiki it says
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mebibyte

Despite its official status, the unit mebibyte is not commonly used even when reporting byte counts calculated in binary multiples, but is often represented as a megabyte. Formally, one megabyte denotes 1000 × 1000 bytes. The discrepancy may cause confusion, since operating systems using the binary method report lower numerical values for storage size than advertised by manufacturers, such as disk drive manufacturers who strictly use decimal units.

JD really has nothing to do with the discrepancies your talking about ... It has to do more with the sites and Operating systems your grabbing the links from .....

There are many times when I grab the same file from various sites and the sites through JD shows often differences in the file sizes reported to it from those sites. Yet If I dl them from the same sharing window showing the same filename and for example with movies or tv shows with the same 480p, or 1080p labels, they are all the same file size on my computers OS when completed.

Although this was written a while back you might want to review it
PHP Code:
https://www.hecticgeek.com/2012/10/for-the-same-file-why-windows-and-ubuntu-show-different-sizes/
as it still holds true today for all OSEs and depending on the Site your getting the links from it also depends on their website conversion or labeling as well as their OS and how their set up.

It highly depends on the *other side* Some ppl prefer Mbit/s, others Mbyte/s
other MiBit/s and others MiByte/s.

But we have an open ear and you can change this by yourself.
