Is there are a way to get the download URL as a <jd> tag?
What the title says. The site I'm pulling from uses a hexadecimal mess for filenames, but I'm only pulling one file per URL, so using it would be miles better than trying to sort through random filenames. Ideally being able to extract parts of the URL would be great, but I'll take what I can get.
Alternatively, is there a full list of all <jd> tags? I couldn't find one on the wiki and google was no help either. |

if you want a component out of the url it would be easier to utilise regex and the package customiser as its designed todo this task.
important note: dynamic tags are available from right click function in locations where its possible to use. some tags are only available in the output section when you have listeners present in the listen areas.

I can figure out regex I think, but how do I actually get ahold of the URL so I can apply it? It doesn't show up as a Dynamic Variable. I'm working with packagizer rules.

you provide an example url in the test location
you then place in your regular expression within which ever field you going to parse? source url? then dynamic tag options will come available based on the listeners in the regex pattern

Ah, that's what I was missing. The regex goes in one of the 'match' fields with the regex toggles, which allows the results of those fields to be used as dynamic variable tags in the 'set' fields.
I was trying to figure out how to get the entire URL into a 'set' field then run regex on it, which on reflection doesn't make much sense. Thanks for the help! |

hindsight ;p
no problem you can use general widcards, though less easy to control/define (without the checkbox)
