Default Downloads should not start when user has set stop downloads

when i enter continue with package the downloads start automatically how do i disable that

from the linkgrabber i click on continue with selected package,it then redirects me to the download page which is just fine,EXCEPT the downloads start up,and i have them disabled in menu preferences.

Am i doing something wrong? this just started in the last couple weeks,and normally it wouldnt be a problem,but my GB is getting low,and i dont want the downloads starting up when im not aware

thank you if you can help

As a temporary measure, set the Speed Limit (bottom right corner) to 1 if you do not want to download. This means 1 byte per second, so it will take over an hour before anything is actually written to disk.

This is already in the bugtracker as a feature request in the general UI improvements, but I cannot find it at the moment. The current Continue with All or Continue with Selected actually perform 3 commands:
1) Copy All or Selected Packages to Download Window
2) Change view to Download Window
3) Start downloading if downloading is stopped.

The existing request is to rename the commands and only perform the first part. Parts 2 and 3 are separate in the mind of a user (part 3 can be accomplished from LG).

@bldblu

You can also temporarily Disable your links/packages before you move them to the download queue.
