Can I enter username & password for non-listed site?
I am trying to download stuff from easynews which I pay for and have a username and password. Linkgrabber adds them as "http link" and sometimes will download, other times not connect at all, even to check online status. My guess is JD isn't given permission to access the password protected link.
If that is the case, is there a way to add a username and password for the easynews site? It's not in the "premium" drop-down list. I can right-click the link after grabbing, but it only offers "password" with no username. If there is some other reason the downloads will only work sometimes, any idea what it could be and how I can fix it? Thanks. |

You can set a login name and a password for accessing your site in the HTAccess pane in Settings -> Modules -> Passwords & Logins.

If it doesn't work the way remi described it, a plugin will be needed to make your site work with jd.

No probably not for your site.
If the login works via https you can also make it work via JD. GreeZ pspzockerscene
