datafile.com do not recognize premium accounts
Hi Friends,
After latest jd update, datafile.com does not recognize my premium account anymore. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks. |

Hmm wasn't working for me this morning, however I've just found out I was running version 7 something of Java. Upgrading to version 8 and restarting Jdownloader and it seems to be working.

datafile premium check problem
hi
since more than 1 week there is a big problem with datafile premium, in the account management, JD2 can't check if premium is valid and datafile premium account dont work. can you fix plz the datafile premium account check thx |

I've had the obsolete plugin once, but mostly get a message stating cannot check account in account manager. Removing and re-adding the account will usually get it to work for a while.

Hm your problem might be related to this:
http://board.jdownloader.org/showthr...datafile...but I can see a lot of socket/connection issues in your log. Make sure that nothing (AV/FW) blocks Java. GreeZ psp

Just using MS Essentials for virus and Windows Firewall, there were a couple of Java entries blocked in the firewall, although a lot more that weren't.
Unblocked the blocked two and this is the first time in days that it's been able to log straight in to my datafile account on startup. See how it goes during the rest of the day, but you may have resolved my problem. |

Ok ignore me I could have sworn I clicked reply in the other thread. However I was responding to support in this thread who have suggested this is linked to another issue already reported and who gave me suggestions for a solution to my issue in this thread.

Your issue is premium account check issue, so this is the correct thread (I moved your posts here).
So do you still have any questions about account check issue? Edit: Please try display any datafile.com page in browser, then check account in JD / start download.

Ahh you're moving them explains that at least
It has been failing throughout this morning, but at this point it's behaving ok, even removing and re-adding the account can't force the issue. Next time it fails I'll try as you suggest. |

Ok it did it again, so I opened up datafile in the browser and then removed and readded it in JD and it logged in ok.
Had to remove and readd as it was temporarily disabled for 5 mins. Not sure what that shows though? |

It seems that they implement anti-DDoS protection so that without opening a page properly in browser, no other access is allowed.
